I've been having troubles lately with the Deals & Steals thread. Besides it putting me in the poor house, it doesn't stop at the last unread post. It jumps all over the place and finally stops about 4 - 5 post above the last unread post. I've had this happen on another thread but I can't remember which one at the moment. Is anybody else having this problem?

It never fails that when I post a problem the problem goes away. Did you do something?

I suspect that the post it actually stops on has been edited since your last visit to the thread. I'll have to check with the software developers, but I think it's behaving as it should. This is why I asked for a direct link to a post that you previously stopped on.

This has been going on for several days. It seems like quite a coincidence that there would be that many edits but I suppose that could happen. I'll let you know if it happens again and check that post for an edit and send you the link.
Ok, it's happened again in another thread. It stopped in the middle of the last unread post and the post before it had been edited.

Make sure you're allowing everything to finish in the background before you do anything with the mouse or keyboard. If you still see the little "spinning circle" in the browser tab, things are still loading in the background.

Page had fully loaded but it stopped in the middle of the last post and there was an unread post before it.

I did that and clicked on the link I posted above and I still went to the middle of the last post. I'll try again when there's a new post in either of those threads.
The Picture of your setup thread worked as it should this time. I went to the last unread post. Did the Ctl-F5 fix it or did you do something?
I just clicked on the Picture thread again and it worked as it should. I guess the Ctrl+F5 did the trick. I didn't know about that trick. Thanks for your help again. 
I am wondering why when I click on a thread I've not read any of it takes me to the end of the thread instead of the first post. I'd rather it didn't do that, I'd like to start at the beginning of a thread I've not read any of than at the end.
