Watts are NOT what produces the biggest clouds! Your lung capacity does that.

Actually, I think the 300w is simply what they say it will go up to. Apparently, imperial watts are different than ours.

Yes, that's what I said. Just because it goes up to 300w, doesn't mean you have to or should (or that anyone does) vape it at 300w. You can use that same mod to vape at 10w. I don't think the op understood that.

Really restricted airflow. With very low airflow simple round coils will get quite hot even at low watts. High metal mass and you will need more than a few watts.

Well I stick to 90 watts on my tfv8 cloud beast and that's where I like it. But whatever floats your boat. If you like it at 200 then good for you. Basically do whatever suits you. I've tried my cloud beast at 220 watts and it's a tad warm for my liking. Vape on .

Yes, it's pretty amazing what you can do with ALL the other factors besides watts.... If the OP is a new user, starting out that high is insane, and will do nothing (IMO) to assist your smoker's throat. If your watts are too high, you will get a LOT (depending on tank, airflow, of course, but you've got a very low sub-ohm tank) of super heated juice very quickly. I did not end up enjoying that, but I do like the 0.7 coils on the Nautilus 2 tank, and that's technically sub-ohming, but I use less airflow and the same amount of watts as I do with my 1.8 coil, and it's just a cleaner vape. Since you already have your setup, I'd concur with starting with LOW watts then moving up until you feel comfortable and get the amount of juice you *need*. Maybe save cloud chasing at a million watts for when you have things down, and want to do that. I did NOT enjoy high wattage, especially in the beginning.

That said, you may love sub-ohming right off the bat, a lot of people do and find it easier.... Also, the nice thing about watts is you can certainly *adjust* them, too. Like, in the morning if you want to power vape as it were, you may find yourself using more watts than at work, producing less vapor... etc. etc. etc.

Just don't go nuts to start, and battery safety pinned links are just great in general, for figuring out battery safety... it's good info to have.

Well said Anna! I always recommend working your way up as it helps prime the coil & increases battery life.
It's no good grabbing your mod an firing a 100 watts.
Best to start at 20 watts an work your way up.
If I'm using an mtl tank or rta I start even lower, I start at 5 watts an work my way up to 14 watts an decrease if my desired vape is lower.
Also make sure you don't get a poor quality battery an exceed it's limits!

I know I'm a little late to the party, but my Innokin Scion's .28 ohm coils are rated for 100-200 watts. I vape an 130-150 watts. I'm not a cloud junkie but I do enjoy the production and flavor I get.

This is so true. I had an experience where someone with the TFV12 was vaping at some crazy high wattage in a vape shop I frequent and was bragging too much about it. I approached him and said let's have a competition. Now I was using the Velocity V2 RDA, the build was 6 wraps of 22G Kanthal 3mm inside diameter at .21 ohms. Usually I keep it at 65 watts because that's enough for me but I can go up to about 110 pushing it to the max. So I juiced up my cotton and cranked my mod up to 100W and the first time I blew him away with my cloud and the second time it was about even.

This is why I believe that when people aren't into rebuilding coils and are in a hurry to get the largest cloud (which isn't my thing), they are left to what will fit their needs on a factory coil tank which needs too many watts to vape, just like the TFV12 which the op wants. He mentioned earlier that he doesn't want to get into building coils and/or dripping but he wants the biggest cloud. Do you see people at cloud competitions using tfv12 's? Didnt think so. So I think he's really limiting himself by not trying to explore the rebuilding side of vaping, where one can actually get something to fit their cloud chasing habit without having to run into battery safety issues (as much as the Tfv12) , where a 2 battery regulated mod will be just fine (aside from one trying to cloud chase, I think that the pre-built factory coils on tanks are just fine One more thing, I'm a 95 percent of the time a Tootle Puffer now).

I agree with you there & I to went back to tootle puffing cos it got me off cigarettes in the first place. I found high wattage vaping stupid & didn't help my cravings. It's become a fad now too!

The wismec comes with some kind of basic charger with a usb, i use an adapter plug and just put into the wall. Batteries arrived dead but they have been charging since like 7 hours now and only like 60%
