I have been vaping for a month now, and I have a jacvapour Vgo2 crystal mini and a VIP photon ce4. I quite like both but I keep reading about how good carto's are and also variable setups. I am looking at getting the ego evod twist. Any help would be good is this a good set for a real newbie or is there a better setup. I would prefer to use uk firms (just me ):)

Hiya,

Yes the evods are very good, i am using one right now.

So i would suggest geting a couple of them, along side the spinner,
which would be a great entry level into the world of vv.

You could get all you need from here Found 495 electronic cigarettes at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping or here E cigarette - VaporBreak both sites are really cheap, compared to uk prices.

Unless you want to go the mod route, get a Vision Spinner and some accessories to go with it.
When you say cartos - have you tried them yet? (I must have some JacVapour ones somewhere)
They are a bit different (if you ask me....) I started on them and now only use them with a tank.

Thanks for that info, no I haven't tried carto, I was thinking of using them with a tank but I am not sure I might just stay with clearomisers, I just felt I would try something different to see if it was better and if not then I haven't lost much. I suppose I am just looking for the perfect vape, or the holy grail probably about as likely.

:) Yes, holy grail as unlikely as a Dan Brown novel.

However, I would say that are good cart in a good tank is probably the best vape going. You can get better flavour from a dripping atomiser (for sure) but I have some of these and they don't get used very often. Hardly the "portable" kit I prefer.

If you were to get a Spinner, you could order a 5-pack of blank boge or kanger cartomizers and see how you like them. IF you get on with them, then get a tank. If not, they are good/reliable spares for the box.

Well I broke down and bought a vision spinner 1300 mah. and a couple of evod cartomisers, WOW! I would not have believed the difference, vapor increase and throat hit are magnified to a level I could not have dreamed of with my other sets. The good bit is I can also use the clearomiser that I had for the VIP photon, so no waste there. I have to say I get a better vape with the evod. On a side note I happened to be watching a video review by p busardo on the evod and he warned about the problem that you could accidently screw of the atomiser and dump your juice all down your shirt. Doh guess what I did  Any way a great vape and I may experiment with some other vv like maybe the one Kycap recommended. :vapor: oh yeah I ordered it yesterday and it arrived this afternoon, is that service or what.

I would say you have pretty much the same as i mentioned, you have a larger mah so you wouldnt need the one i said.

Enjoy your better vape :2cool:

There isn't a larger version of the EVODs, I'm afraid. The T3Ss aren't nearly as good as the EVODs in my opinion. Can't really put my finger on the reason why - it's a very similar system! You could consider a Protank, which has a 2.5ml capacity and the heads are interchangeable with the evods. It is a bit top heavy on an eGo style battery, though.

Just a quick question, The evod only holds about 1.6mls and I see the Kanger T3s holds 2.8mls. Has anyone tried these or is there a larger version of the evod BC.

I bought 6 T3s. They are epic-ally bad. Some people are able to use them without leaking all over the place. I was not one.

6 x T3s and 2 packs of replacement bases. £45 worth of rubbish. Sold for 10p to a newbie.

(well, he paid £1 for all the bits and it cost 90p to post. :) )

Okay so I got a protank, ordered it Thursday got it Friday from Vape Escape that is really fast service. I have only one small niggle with the Protank it is quite noisy, a hissing sound when I vape, but the taste and volume of vapour is so good that I can live with it. So I am going to use the Evod when out and about and the protank when relaxing at home. I saw the protank mini on the Vape Escape site but I like the evod so will stick with them. Thanks for all the advice.
