Five years ago today I quit a lifestyle that was slowly killing me, and made a better choice in nicotine delivery.

Mom is on the phone with the eye Doc......Wanting a shot for her macular degeneration.....I worry that she has already had to many shots in her eye....Doesn't seem to me that they work and I'm very suspicious it could be purely for profit....Carolina Eye has exploded in every city near here in my time spent sitting in their parking lots....Should they tell her to come on in I'll spend all afternoon sitting in the car....
Depending on the track of the storm hitting Florida we'll get either .5~1 or 4~8 inches of rain....That tells me it's gonna get sheety....Storm could become a hurricane later today and not forecast to lose a lot of strength as it cuts across Florida and Georgia....
I'd planned on hitting the parts house and getting oil and filter for my Kubota along with a re-build kit for the Holley carberator on my old Bronco....Guessing I'd better check the status of the Eye Doc trip....

Dee, I hope they aren't just ripping off your mom, I know you'll deal with them if you find out they are. I'm keeping my eye on that storm too, and hope it veers on out to sea.

After spending the day moving the ex into his apartment and taking a drag or two off his smokes, I can definitely say I'm an ex smoker! Nasty!!

Yepp....Sat in the car all afternoon....Mom got a shot....Gonna be overnight before the results are known....I just worry those shots do more harm than good...
The other day when I got my tags I stopped into a vape/tobacco/head shop between the DMV and my truck...I went old school and grabbed 10 of those little Al Capone cigars...They were once a favorite....dipped in cognac they are....I lit a couple but I can't keep "em lit!!! Pretty damn nasty after the cognac goes away....maybe I need a bottle of the real deal....Bought some brandy once after hearing how good it was....my mileage varied....
Old storm now has a name....Hermine....Depending on what bands hit where there could be over 10 inches of rain in a short time....I've got a creek in my driveway....yeah....Most summers it runs dry and that's the current status....Let's hope it doesn't turn into a river as it has before....The track has also shifted West....I'm directly in the center now....Last I saw sustained winds @60mph with higher gusts....possibility of rain out the ying yang and high chances of flooding and wind damage....Then there's the little brief tornadoes thingy....Only brief???? That's pleasant.....Spike and I will bail into the Dodge 4X4 if necessary....It's gonna take a hella tornado to pick up that heavy beech...Plus it moves and hauling azz ain't out of the question.....Damn thing is hitting Florida and beelining right to the damn house....FFFF that right now!!!!!!!!!

Just watched the Florida radar....They're getting pounded...I always watch the pressure...991mb currently...Now Hermaine is now or will be a hurricane before the eye hits shore sometime around mid-night....991 shows me it's getting better organized but the pressure is likely gonna rise over land....Low 900s you best haul buggy...Still I saw a lot of small thunderstorms circling the perimeter....possible tornadoes....I believe Wuzz is in the area getting pounded now...not sure though....The track has shifted to the East but that's likely to shift again and either way the gun is still pointed in this direction....20 year anniversary of the night Fran tore us a new one is any day now.....It's bad....it's been worse....I got my eyes and ears open WIDE!!!
