Thanks for the concern !! My eye doc said vitamins had shown no benefit in the early stages of macular.....Sounded a little suspicious to me...What with turning 60....the hepatitis.....the cauterization and now the macular....It gets heavy at times but as always I'll soldier on....

That whole deal with the Cuzzo's Ex has to stay a secret around the house....The ladies in my family wouldn't be happy....Thanks for letting me tell ya'll....Trust I'm not living in it but just had to get it off my chest.....Personally I'll be glad when the house is repaired and I won't have to here anything about her again....She's not relevant to us and I guess that's what bothers her most.....

Got two mattresses delivered too the beach Friday night....Typical redneck took the old mattresses and box springs to the fire pile and lit them....that dumpster that I got busted dumping sheetrock in now has 4 sets of bed springs in it...LoL!!!!! I sleep on my old queen and my niece BabyG got the other....Got the pine cones and limbs piled and burnt Saturday...Mowed the leaves and weeds and sprayed a gallon of dandelion killer...Lest I forget I spread 40lbs of ferts on the gardenia bushes....Pollen was kicking it.....had yellow shoes from walking in the grass....Sinuses didn't appreciate any of that.....

Beautiful Baldwinsville (CNY)
Keeping busy in Baldwinsville, looking forward to opening up camp for the season. With any luck I'll be able to form the water on next weekend, we may be done with jaded freezes after this next week.

With all the virus stuff going around, I believe DW and I managed to catch a common cold. DW was feeling a bit run down, I now have a running nose and sneezing. I sent out a note to cancel my Monday night dive class, let the students know why. The way things are going I half expect we'll be in a shutdown in another week.

(Diving is a fun activity, by definition not a must-do; keeping everyone safe and healthy is my top priority. My day job is cool, I've been working from home since July 2018, only stop by the office once a week.)

I did pick up a couple dozen masks, both with and without vents, since we use them doing summer chores (sawing pressure treated wood, working in attics, all the "fun" stuff [emoji3]) and in case we get a bad outbreak in CNY. It took some searching to find them at a reasonable price, but my Google-fu was strong.

Sorry to hear that you and the Mrs are not feeling well, Mark. Feeling a little under the weather myself.
Pretty sure it is allergies. We have the heavy pollen here that LD speaks of as well. I stopped getting my allergy shots when we moved back to Charleston.

schools in our state are closed for at least the next two weeks. I have a feeling it will be longer. Hopefully the kids won’t have to do make up days through the summer.

Yep, allergies are kicking my .... too, being in between Dee and Salem. I hope everyone stays safe from Covid 19.

Got sucked into a drama at Walmart last Sat. and was faced with standing strong with a mom and her 2 teen daughters, or playing the "I didn't see nuthin" escape. Of course yall already know what I chose. Creepy older man eyeballing the 2 girls up and down so hard that he turned and continued to stare as they walked past. It was obvious to everyone in the isle what he was doing, and Mom called him out on it. Well he went off on her, yelling so loud that others started coming to see what was going on. He disappeared real fast, and Mom called the police out of fear that he might be out in the parking lot waiting for them to come out. Two employees who witnessed the scene and I stayed with Mom and girls at the service desk to speak with the cops. I must admit that I was glad the cops decided they didn't need an official statement from me, nor my name, etc, but I would have done whatever asked to show a strong example for Mom and especially her girls. Did I mention that not a single other witness other than the 2 employees stayed?

Add me to the seasonal cold/allergies list of sufferers!
PA gov (where I work-vape shop) just ordered closures of all non essential (life supporting) businesses beginning at 8 pm last night. I’m going in at 10 am to help my boss pack up the shop. Hopefully this ugly virus exits as fast as it appeared.
Home schooling is going well so far, but as the weeks creep on, I have a feeling, so will little miss’ attitude about it all. Lol
It took us three stores and two trips out yesterday to be able to food shop for the week. Hubs is suggesting me to go again today to stock up ahead a little bit...this is the part where major censorship is needed! I’ll leave it at that. ;)
I’m also stopping at the liquor store in my travels today as being quarantined for an unknown amount of time with no work has me wanting to “wine” some! Lol
Stay well, stay safe and prayers for all!

Hi all!

NY has their stay home order effective as of Monday.

I've been fortunate to be able to work from home since mid 2018, so that part is easy.

DW is super edgy about this. As an MD, though no longer practicing, she looks for the potential downside (CYA for doctors, make sure to test for anything to avoid lawsuits). With something like covid-19, including spread by people not showing symptoms, the potential to pick it up is real.

Anyhow, today we went to HD to stock up on some project items for camp, as well as a major grocery store. We'll likely aim for just one round of shopping per week for the foreseeable future, otherwise do things at home and camp. Since this (recommended social distancing and/or stay home direction) is likely to last several months, I should be able to knock out a couple of camp projects and get some good time out on the lake this summer [emoji106]

This is a time when living alone is pretty handy for me. I don't have to deal with fussy eaters, or worrying about transmitting cooties to anyone else at home ;) Our Gov has not issued a shelter in place order (yet) but I'm a homebody anyway. SC's documented cases have risen almost 80% over the last few days as testing has become more available. Bella and I are still doing our daily 3 mile walk, and most folks are abiding by the 6ft social distancing rule.

LoL at your "wining" Tracy!! I'm feeling the stress a bit just from watching the news. FaceBook is a stresser I'm mostly just skimming these days, with the political and now Covid arguing!

Pokey and her family are doing good so far. We check in with each other frequently to make sure all is well. I worry about her since she is an RN.

Stay smart, stay safe

Bov, in case you haven’t noticed, our governor leaves much to be desired. He said that he does not plan to put the shelter in place law into place.
Craziness I tell you. This entire country should have been put on lockdown long ago. We are going to end up just like Italy thanks to slow response. Ugh.
My husband is immuno compromised and is terrified of getting this virus. He almost lost his life from something with his lungs years ago. Spent a long time on life support. He would not survive if he were to catch this virus.
We are already self isolated. Sadly I stopped keeping my grandson here and homeschooling him. It is just too risky and we have to be paranoid.
So many people out there not taking this seriously and treating time off like a vacation. Downright scary.

anyway please keep yourselves safe guys. Check in here often so we know that everyone is ok. Anyone heard from Wharf lately?

If anyone is a dual coil rta fan, I've got a DR RTA clone and pair of spare 810 driptips that fasttech comped me.

$8.60 Dead Rabbit Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2/4.5ml / stainless steel + glass / 25mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

It's a straight PIF, open to anyone.

It looks like the weather is finally turning, no more hard freezes. With any luck I'll open camp this weekend (turning on the water and plugging in the refrigerator is when I count it as open - we're spoiled [emoji16])

Mark, I'd love to give one of those RTAs a forever home! It's been a while since I had a new toy :)

Glad the weather is warming for yall. We hit 85 today!

Some of you probably saw me post this on FB...the ceramic cook top on my stove busted all up the right side yesterday. Looks like I'll be looking for a replacement soon

It'll go in the mail Monday [emoji3]

DW and I went shopping at a local Aldis today, pretty painless and the store was well stocked. This is a marked change from last week, when a lot of things had been cleaned out. Hopefully this will repeat in other areas, that while people may see a week or two of panic buying going on, things shake out fairly quickly. The distribution infrastructure is strong.

Thank you, Mark!

Last time I went shopping was last Monday, and our Walmart was still showing lots of empty shelves. I bought a loaf of bread from the deli because the bread isle was empty. I didn't try Aldis, but will stop in there in a day or so when I need to go again.

And holy cow!!! When did Essential Depot jack up their prices on veg glycerin?? It's almost $60 a gallon  I mix my vg/pg at 75/25...that's gonna hurt! Last time I bought a gallon was Oct and I paid $23 on Amazon.
