Hey everyone, just ordered a Riva 901 from one of our supplier and have had nothing but problems with it. So first the one of the battery's will not take either atty that was supplied. The 510 cartos, after an adapter no problem, but the atty will not screw on enough to make a connection to fire up. The seller said that he would give me credit for it. And now 3 days later the charger does not want to work. The light stays green even though the battery is dead. I have heard of some other people having problems with the chargers being a PITA but have been able to solve their problems, none of their methods have worked so far. I just really dont want to be caught out in the cold here without a workable battery. Does anyone have any suggestions that i can try to get these things to charge? Dont want to have to wait for monday to roll around for the company to ship me out replacements cross country (CA to NY) and my one remaining battery is not going to last that much longer.

Sowazit, are you using the USB charger on your computer, or are you using the wall adapter?

Does the light blink on the battery when you plug it in?

Ensure the connections are clean on the charger and the battery. E-juice will cause a poor connection.

Also, try Screwing the battery in and out of the charger connection several times to see if it will work.

And/or try connecting the battery to the charger before you plug it in.

Sorry, thats all I've got.

This might be considered an "emergency need" so if all else fails, PM a PIF moderator (listed at the bottom of this page) and explain your plight. Someone nearby may be able to help you out until you can reorder a working unit. Even if someone offers to loan you a working unit, it'll get you through. Worth a shot.
