I thought maybe, if anyone was interested, that we could each pick out a saint and ask for their help in keeping e-cigarettes legal and for assistance for our suppliers in Washington in the next few weeks.

I found these saints of interest:

Our Blessed Mother
Blessed Fr. Damien (smoked a pipe and cared for outcasts)
Blessed Mother Teresa (cared for outcasts)
St.Padre Pio (smoked cigars & pipes)
St. Bernadette (breathing problems)
St. Terese, the Little Flower (breathing problems)
Pope John XXIII (smoker)
St. Blaise (patron saint of throat and lung problems)
St Bernardine of Siena is patron against lung problems.
Blessed Matt Talbot (patrons saint of addicts)
St.Joan of Arc (Burnt at the steak)
Pope John Paul II (knew the horror of opressionistic governments)
Bl. Mary Teresa Ledochowska, (the foundress of the Sodality of St. Peter Claver for the African Missions she was able to quit smoking)
St Lawrence of Rome (put to death by fire)
St. Peregrine (patron saint of cancer patients
Father Steven Barham (a saintly healing priest who died of cancer)
St Maximilian Kolbe (patron of addicts because he was murdered with drugs)
St. Jude (Patron of Hopeless Cases)
St. Augustine (as a youth had a very wild past)
The 3 kings: Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar (because 2 of them brought fragrant substances)
St. Francis (breathing problems)
St, Mary Magadala (she annointed His feet with precious oil)
St. Faustina (patron saint of mercy)*

I will take the last one St. Faustina and will say a chaplet of Divine Mercy for our cause every day,

Does anyone else want to add any saints or say a novina to any of the ones listed?
