... does this mean that I can start responding to all questions in the New Members Forum by saying: "Just get a Provari"? LOL.

But it seems to have been pretty good advice. I've been vaping on it for a few hours, playing with the voltage power settings a little bit, testing the Ohm resistance, and this thing, so far, is everything everyone says it is. Compared to the Ego starter kit and the non-regulated Provape-1, it's simply a better way to vape. It just is.

Though part of me feels a little bit bourgeois and extravagant for blowing so much $$$ (I'm just a poor hippie living month to month), it occurs to me that if I have the Provari, the Provape-1 for backup, and now start saving my money for a ZAP or a ZAU (or both), I'm basically set for life. Once set up one can have a smooth and consistent vape for pennies per month... Having a few very well-made items instead of a drawer full of random pieces of various vaping materials seems to be the most sensible way to go about this, at least for me, both in terms of quality and long-term cost efficiency.

I really like the weight, the feel of it in my hand, the button placement and action, the simplicity of the menus, and the obvious quality of the build. The only possible issue I could see for people with this design is: If your vaping style is to push the button multiple times for one vape this could be problematic, because you might fool the Provari into thinking you're looking for menu options when you're not. But this isn't an issue for me, especially since the draw, per set voltage, is so absolutely consistent that you can know exactly what you're going to get each time you press the button.

The Provari is an engineering masterpiece, a work of art. It really is.

Well I'm in the minority. I got one and I'm not impressed. Especially after all the posts in all the threads. I thought it was going to be the best thing I had ever vaped. It's just another PV. And definitely not my favorite. I just put it away for a backup. If it stays there for too long then I'll just sell it. (Notice I'm not like the Provari people, I'm not going to go on and on telling you what my favorite is and why it's the best.)

i agree and while it is a really well built mod it is over priced and $24 for a $1 extension cap to be able to use a 18650 battery is criminal.
back in the earlier days of vaping they were hands down the best but now there are many mods out there that work just as well for much less $.

LOL. But inquiring minds want to know. What is your favorite PV and why is it the best?

Besides, cut me some rope, man! I just got it today. If I spend the next 5 years doing nothing else in life except raving about the Provari, then I'll admit that yes, this might be a sign of clinical insanity.

I've got one and also 3 twist, 2 itaste VV's, a kicked SB and 2 Vamo's, plus others. Yea I'm PV poor. IMHO the favorite of them all is what I have in my hand that taste good at the time. I will admit that I like the build quality of the Provari and the way it feels. It's really nice. Lets talk quality and long term. Then check out the PreciesePlus and a kicklet to go with it. LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE WARRENTY, which include the FINISH. Now that's long term. Then put one in the basket along with the kicklet and OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can buy 2 Provari's for that price. But I still want. Just can't afford.

Don't get me wrong about the Provari. I really do enjoy mine and it will last longer than I will. Just again my:2c:

I hope no one misunderstood my first post. I wasn't inferring that the Provari is not a good PV, it is very well made. It's just with so much written and it showing up in threads about almost every other PV, I expected to want to throw everything else away. It is solid, but it's still just a tube to hold a battery, nothing more nothing less. No Holy Grail, at least not for me. My favorite right now is the Sigelei Zmax. The build quality and accuracy rivals the Provari. Yet it does much more. JMO and only because you asked.

I like you Blue Snake. You are an honest no BS person. I still love my Provari the best but not everyone has to and there is nothing wrong with that. Maybe for you it was like when everyone recommends a great movie to you and when you watch it there is no way it can live up to your expectations LOL. That happens to me a lot.

I just received my Provari on thursday and it's exactly what I expected....a quality vv mod.
I was pretty stoked for it to show up, but I've been at this long enough to agree....it's a tube to hold a battery.
On the same day I ordered the Provari, I also ordered a new 3 volt charger and 6 new aw 3 volt batts for my 2 Silver bullets.
I knew the bullets would still get used as much as the Provari. In fact I'm hitting my chrome Bullet right now.
The Provari will surely have it's place in my arsenal, mainly for when I'm rebuilding coils. Easier to adjust voltage to match a coil than it is to build a coil to match voltage.

Having said that.....I love my new toy. She's pretty.

Provari cost me a one month cigarette supply. Hardly expensive. And I don't have to buy 1 a month. It does everything I need, doesn't mean I don't want a Helix or SB, they are all good. 4000 mah battery would be awesome but I may need a 30 ml tank on that sucker.
The only thing I dislike about the Provari is the wobbly 18650 endcap. Maybe someday someone will come up with a cig sized VV/VW 12 hour battery life device. It won't be soon obviously but it would be pretty cool.
It's all good, we don't smoke.

You can pick up a cheap gen style atty to get some practice in while you save for your ZAP. Some of the DID clones have pretty good reviews and I think there are some that are around $22 (haven't tried them myself).

I paid $12 for my DiD clone, and another $18 for a custom glass tube from IBT. Worth the $30 ... no question.

Is this the COV with the IBT tank? Looks great!

Yup, it's the Gen1 they sell. The glass tank holds a little less juice than the longer metal tank it comes with but I prefer the look of the custom glass. I think the metal tank it comes with is close to 3ml? This glass tube holds 2ml ... maybe 2.5.
