Living in Philadelphia right in the heart of the historic district, I thought I would have seen at least one. Nope. They must be stealth vaping. I see tons of smokers, no vapers.

I'm in the city all of the time and I never see another vaper either, even in University City... crazy. I'll keep an eye out for you!

You've obviously never been to Baltimore or DC. A 10 minute walk in certain parts of both those cities will reveal dozens of dealers.

But I've yet to see more than a handful of people with e-cigs, and NOBODY with a mod in public out here...

If you think that's bad, drive 60-ish miles south. I can't even use a cigarette-looking mini in public without getting strange looks. Or harassed by cops because they think I'm vaping something illegal

Well personally I've converted 10 people that still vape and at my work there is a good 30 people who vape but they all smoke as much as they vape. They all use cig look a likes and think my LT is ridiculous. If they only would give it a chance

I'll be honest--I live in suburban MD--less than 15 miles from DC and Baltimore--one of the most densly-populated high-tech corridors in the US, and the only vapers I've seen in public are people smoking cig-alikes like V2, BLU or Volts. I saw a young woman in a pub this weekend using an e-cig. I saw TWO men using e-cigs at the MD Renaissance Festival a week ago. I've seen a few people in the mall using them.

But I have never seen anyone using a mod in public, unless you include the staff in the local vape-shops.

You'd think that with the massive concentration of geeks, techies and gadgeteers in this area (working for NASA, the DOD, and the Military), there would be Provari's, box mods, GGs and everything else everywhere you looked, but I just haven't seen them. I'm sure they are there, but all the people I've seen vaping in public in these parts seem to be using cig-alikes.

I'm working to change that--I carry my Acrylimax on a lanyard EVERYWHERE I go now, and I am prepared to sing the praises of vaping to any and all who may inquire...

Go for it! I'm from Northern VA, about 15 miles from dc maybe less. I'll be using a kGo with a viv nova or smoktech mega cardo everywhere I go until I get my Provari/Kir Fanis Prive combo. Maybe we can spread the PV love in the DC metro area!

^He's right.. Even driving down the road in Baltimore they will yell "code words" to you when sitting at red lights trying to get someone to pull over and buy whatever it is they have. It's crazy/funny.

Yeah, the whole Dana Point thing is confusing me.

If it's Dana Point, CA, then there are tons of vaping storefronts in the vicinity.
If it is Dana Point somewhere else, then I don't know.
