There was a run on QB's very early. Many of the QB's went waaayyy ahead of their ADP. That left many RB's open to people later in the first round.
As an example I think Lacy went on the 8th pick and Lynch went at the 10th pick
Julius Thomas taken with the 35th pick...yes, that's where I took him. To me that was a HUGE bargain.

Yes...I got Lacy at 8th pick. Really did not expect that.

I had one other draft - I straight up quit the league in the middle of the draft. They have these wonky scoring rules where you get .5 points PER YARD (passing) so of course I draft Peyton Manning 1st Overall... and then they announce they are changing the league to standard scoring in the 5th round. LMAO No thanks.
Yeah, changing rules in the middle of the draft isn't a great indicator of a stable league. I would have rather had Gronk over Thomas when you folks drafted, but the Welker concussion makes Thomas slightly more appealing. I have to think there's some regression amongst the Broncos offensive players and Gronk should be the #1 option in NE. So tough though to make a balance team in a 16+ team league.

I hear ya there man. .5 per yard passing means peyton or brees should go 1st. Never heard of them rules anyways. I probably also would have quit if they tried changing it.
I have Welker and apparently he's doing great. We'll see!

The problem with concussions is that once you have had one, the second one coming is more likely - and he's had... four?
I feel bad for him... but he's a 5'10 guy who runs slants over the middle for a living. Of course he's going to get hit in the head more often than your average wide receiver. Unfortunately, I think his days (and short-term memory) are numbered.
Welker might not have a job when he gets back from suspension. Depends on how Sanders does in the slot and the rookie at the #2.
