Nub - First Post

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself and thank you all for providing immense amounts of knowledge to this community! Any questions I have had, I was able to answer searching these forums!

I have smoked a pack + of Newports for well over a decade, and found out last week that my wife is expecting. I literally bought the pregnancy test and a carton at the same time... After receiving the news, I started scouring the web for alternatives and stumbled across this wonderful site. The next day I went to a local shop in GA called Vaperite and those folks were unbelievably helpful. They were extremely patient with my lack of knowledge and spent ample time helping me get set up. I ended up going with an eGo Twist with a couple plastic clearomizer's and was very impressed..

In the last 5 days I have sold my entire carton to a coworker, been back to Vaperite several times, placed an order from ecig Charleston, bought a lot of new toys and have not touched an analog since my first vape. My current setup is the eGo Twist using a Kanger ProTank and I absolutely love it!

I did the same, minus the pregnancy test and baby part. It was surprisingly easy to quit. I'm still going strong after a month of no cigs. And I don't miss them one bit. Keep it up bud.

Forgive me if I'm doing this wrong, but I don't see how to ask a question otherwise. My brother has got a product called Brilliant Smoke, but it has no "cartomizers". Other brands are sold in local stores. Are their cartomizers interchangeable?

My brother was given a starter kit of Brilliant Smoke, but it came without any cartridges ("cartomizers"). These are available under different brands at the local store, but I don't know if the threads are interchangeable. The flavors are the same. Can anyone tell me if they will work?

Strawman, I don't know anything about the product you mentioned, but at the home page for the new members forum, there is a link where you can post a new topic. Make sure you are on the new member forum page though otherwise you won't be able to do anything til you have made more posts. You could also try using the search bar on this site and just type in brilliant smoke and see what comes up. Hope this helps.

Brilliant Smoke are (apart from being oxymoronic) 808 threaded which means you can either get any carto that is 808 threaded or there are adaptors out there like this from smoktech 510-808/901 adapter / 808/901-510 adapter.

Congrats Skep, sorry about the above hijack. You gotta love the Twist/Spinner egos, I have a Spinner and although it is mainly my travel device I can't imagine being without at least one Twist/Spinner. I am happy to read about your success and welcome to the forum, if you have any questions, ask, the people here are more than willing to help. We all were new at one time.
