Pumpkin Pie, reminds me of my Grandmother again. We would literally drive over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house for Thanksgiving, always greeted by the warm smell of turkey roasting in the oven and fresh out of the oven pumpkin pie. There I go, missing Grandma again and making myself hungry....

not an entry...pumpkin pie to me is the essence of fall,,,the creaminess of the sweetened milk, the earthiness of the pumpkin and the spices kissing everything just right to bring it all together...often I just cant wait and just make ramekins of pumpkin custard to pull out and an eat when ever I want that taste of fall

Pumpkin pie was my all time favorite dessert treat growing up... my grandmother used to make pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas parties we would throw as a family. Typically she would make 2 for the party, and 1 for me. The extra pie would always get put away, way back in the fridge, and nobody would touch it since they knew it was for me. The best part was getting a big glop of cool whip on top and eating it cold

Pumpkin Pie was created by god and passed down to man as a gift! I love it all year around. i had a pumpkin pie once at marie calenders that they never carried again for some reason it was called satin pumpkin pie it had sort of a graham cracker crust except it was like crumbled and pressed or something and it was the greatest pumpkin pie ever. i only once
For Thanksgiving My Sisters and I get together and make 16 pumpkin pies, along with a few pumpkin Pie cheesecakes . Most get crushed at dinner. Rest go home with each family branch.
One of the favorites is Upside Down Pumpkin Pie. No crust and the topping is made of cake base and pecans, brown sugar etc.

Finally, batch #17 has entered the lineup as White Chocolate Raspberry
I for one am not a huge white chocolate fan, but dried fruit in a well-crafted white chocolate bar is great! What other white chocolate combos have you tried? Any recipes you enjoy that involve white chocolate? Everyone knows I am a dark chocolate fanatic but would much rather prefer white over milk chocolate

As my last entry in this contest I'll state that I love White Chocolate, but have yet to find a good White Chocolate Liquid. Not sure why, but it seems hard to master. And Raspberries? For special occasions, my wife makes White Chocolate Cheesecake with Raspberries. It's unbelievably good and raspberries are the perfect compliment to White Chocolate.

The picture you have for this is making me salivate jake, if we do end up vacationing in the yucatan peninsula your bring this with you ha ha. I LOVE raspberries. my grandmother had a Boulder Raspberry plant in her rose garden i didnt know what it was when it first started blooming cause i saw all these little white berries growing all over it, and being a kid for some reason i remember thinking that any white berries were poisonous. until they started reddening then i was like oh steal steal steal lol grandma wasnt even mad!

For myself, I used to smoke Camel Turkish Royals. I enjoyed a bit of the nutty flavor, but was mostly attracted to the full-bodied aroma from the fresh tobacco more than anything. It was a difficult flavor/smell to isolate, but I found that the smell of the freshly-cut tobacco in a Turkish Royal was the 'flavor' I enjoyed.
