So I'm wondering, how many extra of these items do you have for your devices:

-clearos/cartos/tanks
-coil heads for each
-e-liquid
-extra batteries
-extra chargers

I'm having a hard time deciding how much to order so I feel secure for a while.

Clearos = 15-20
Carto's = 25-30
Coils for clearos = 75
Batteries = 8-18350 4-18650
4 = Chargers
60 = 30ml Bottles of liquid

More on order soon, these are not nessecarily to make me feel comfortable but also I love to experiment etc...

To start with, just make sure you have two batteries and two chargers. As you sample flavors you'll find that you need more tanks to hold them, so spare tanks are good but how many you need depends on how many flavors you want to keep in the rotation. For e-liquid, I usually try to keep at least 15ml on hand of my favorite juice. That's enough to last me a while and it's sold locally so more can be had easily.

Don't go overboard ordering stuff. You may decide to switch batteries next month, or you may decide that you prefer a different type of tank. Figure out what you can't find locally and make sure you have an extra of those things. Other than that, take it slow. Ordering new vaping toys is an addiction too! You'll soon have more than you know what to do with, and the half dozen spare heads for that old tank that you don't use any more are mostly useless (though they're good for scavenging wicks in a pinch).

2 900's - Home
5 extra heads for evods (3)
8 extra clearo's
3 usb chargers
Wall charger

Liquid? I wouldn't feel secure with anything under 100ml.

For a beginner?

2-3 batteries, more if your using cigalike.
100ml of juice
5-10 clearo//carto and/or 5-10 coils if rebuildable.
At least 2 chargers in case 1 breaks.

I have 5 mods, 2 Twists, a 650mAh eGo, 2 cig-a-likes, 3 LR306 attys, 4-5 510 attys, about 9 carto tanks, 3 Protanks, 15+ CE3 XL clearos, 2 Vivi Novas, 5-6 CE4s, at least a couple of 100 dollars worth of juice, batteries, chargers, boxes of assorted replacement heads and cartos, nifty drip tips, various whatnots and whatevers like sweentener, Koolada, syringes, aquarium foam and empty cartridges...

and, of course, I have back-ups.

ETA: But this is my hobby. For a new vaper:

2 batteries (Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner - less trouble than generics) or both*
Maybe - a smaller battery for out and about
charger
Keep the cost low on the above and spend the rest of the budget on as many different delivery devices (clearos, tanks, bottom coil, top coil, dripping attys, etc.) and juice samples as you can afford. The juice and how you get it is the key to vaping.

Usually have my Provari and my Tesla with me, with 2 extra Protanks filled and ready. I start out with fresh batteries in the mods, and have a battery back up for each. When at home, it's Tesla, Provari, 2 REO's.

Yesterday was a bad vaping day - we've all had them. Every Protank was acting up, and none of my juices tasted like they were supposed to. Grrr. We just vape through it I supposed, today is better.

As a bare minimum I'd want at least 2 batteries, 2 chargers, and 3 or 4 clearos. I can get juice locally (not the best, but it works) so I'd feel safe with 2 small bottles at home, 2 full clearos when I head for work or out for the day.

I also have the V2 cig-a-likes and a few cartos that I started with if I need them. I always carry them with me in my car, just in case I get pulled over by an officer that's ignorant about e-cigs. I'm a nurse and don't need the hassle of any kind of police issue.

Right now I have stripped inner threads on 2 of my ego batts- still usable if I have two hands free! I really only have one 900 mAh ego battery for "out and about", and it makes me a little antsy, especially since it's not uncommon for me to work 16 hr shifts with a 35 min drive each way. I wish Fasttech would hurry up and ship the clearos, replacement heads and 2 new batteries I ordered! I've been debating on getting a pass-through for at home to save my batteries.

ProVari, Vamo, DNA 20 NES mod, two ego batteries, Pro Tank (which can be rebuilt), 4 Cartomizer tanks + 7 boxes of cartomizers. Two 18650's (more on the way), AGA T2 and a rebuildable dripper on the way. Enough nicotine for at least a year of DIY. Think I'm good for a little. The next is getting a couple more batteries and more nicotine. Maybe another charger JUST in case.

2 900mah twist
5 evods 5 t3 clearos w/ evod heads
1 vivi nova
3 rda
4 ego chargers
10 evod coils 2 vivi coils extra (i rebuild them)
1000ml of diy juice supplies

In the mail atm is a vamo v2, 4 18650 battery's, charger, and a kts mechanical mod.

For the first few months I was using 1 ego passthrough battery. I broke it on a Friday and man was that a long weekend. Got to give props to Discount Vapors for shipping my order on a Saturday and USPS for getting it to me on Monday. Learned an important lesson there.

I always carry both battery's and a charger with at least 5 of my clearo's when i leave the house now. I am a little paranoid about backups now.

I don't know if its good for a beginner to buy 100ml of juice they may not even like. I have anywhere from 30ml to 40ml and I'm doing fine. I'm not a heavy vaper though and slowly going to 0nic.
