Hey everyone, here is the meat and potatoes from this review, if you want to check out the whole thing visit Nutty from Backwoods Brew | eCigology

Flavor (8)

This flavor took me by surprise, as does all backwoods brew juice. I was expecting a peanut type flavor I have had in other juices from other vendors, and maybe a honey type of flavor. I was totally wrong about that. On the inhale you get a slightly sweet taste, not much else. On the exhale you experience hazelnut, very light sweetness, and maybe a slight almond flavor, I haven’t quite pinned it down. On top of that, the juice somehow tastes very light, clean almost. If you took Nutella and removed the cocoa flavor, and took the hazelnut flavor down a few notches, it would be close to this. The thing that blows me away about this juice and all backwoods brew juice is that they always manage to make it taste more authentic than I would expect… This tastes like he figured out how to juice nuts.

Vapor Production (9)

Backwoods brew juice makes a lot of vapor, this juice is no different.

Throat hit (7)

The throat hit on this juice is on the lighter side, I like a nice light throat hit every once and a while though.

Consistency (8)

This juice has a near perfect viscosity for all around use.

Overall Score (32/40)

one of the few remaining juices from BWB i haven't tried. I agree that his flavors are very true to real deal. I found the same to be true of his blueberry, peach and strawberry. Great review, thank you for sharing

Yeah, I got the strawberry in with this one too, and its also so much better than I could expect... not the typical candy strawberry flavor.

Juice Nuts hahaha......This is one of Don's flavors that I have and haven't tried yet. If you can believe it. I got caught up with some of his others and find it hard to pull myself away. I bought it thinking it would be great to enhance another juice with a nutty flavor. Maybe I'll drip a little tonight. I'm assuming I'll find it's the same flavor you can taste in his HNF and 555? Have you tried it with another juice yet? Oh and Ejoker I'm anxious to try your inspired brew however can't quite seem to get the timing right on my orders. It's been like that with the RY4 too. I heard it has something to do with Don's flavor supplier? I was telling Phorbin that once Don't back in full swing he should allow us to preorder juices that are currently out of stock so it's not a guessing game first come first served type of thing.

Another one I need to try...he currently has 37 flavors...once I get them all, I'll have to set up a 5 flavor a day (7 on Sunday) rotation...

My BWB rotation is Malty Toffee, Malty Toffee, more Malty Toffee, more Malty Toffee....repeat. I have a serious MT addiction and don't want the cure....

Man, I got that in too, I must say I'm not crazy about it.... I know a lot of people love it but it just kind of tastes like a liqueur to me. Almost approaching the realm of baileys almost actually.

I will definitely do that, and I will add my findings into the review

My bottle from 12/10/10 has turned orange...the fresh bottles are a clear light brown.
The liqueur taste mellows and leaves a sweet & lovely flavor...can't really describe what it is though.
Just dang good...I agree about the throat hit...very mellow...
I think you will like it better in a week to ten days.
Almost no point in reviewing a lot of his juices until they steep for a week.
Make sure you shake the bottle every couple of days....don't leave it open!!!

Thats really interesting... I didn't think "steeping" could change that much about a juice, I thought color, sure I have seen that but I have never experienced the real flavor change so many people talk about. I thought most of it was due to palette and atomizer acclimation. I wonder what it is that changes so much... the only thing I know for certain is that liquidized nicotine does oxidize and turns darker as it does that, thats probably where the color change comes from, but I wonder what the ingredients are that change as well?

I wasn't a big believer in steeping until I found BWB juice. My first order included the applewood and cherry bacco. Cherry bacco made me a believer in steeping. Something about the made to order/made by hand juices that....i don't know exactly...it just seems to take time for the flavors to marry together or something. I know this is an often debated topic and there are a ton of people who thinking steeping is a myth. And in some ways they are probably right. If you don't like a juice after a week, i doubt a month of steeping is going to change that. But, IMO, juice flavors do change over time. Its not always a change for the better, but they do change.

I loved my Malty Toffee straight from the mailbox I am a believer in steeping, When I first tried Don's HFN I didn't get much of a taste difference to his virginia so I set my cart aside, the next day, the smell alone was a huge difference. I took my cart condom off and the sweet nuttiness blasted out of my cart. I don't leave my bottles open or anything like that but I agree a dark cool place with a shake every day or two allows the flavors to meld together. I don't know anything about anything but IMO flavorings being that they are derived from natural and artificial stuff, time allows them to take on there roles better.
May I also add it's awesome that some many of Don's juices are sitting on the front page of this forum.
Way to go Don!!!
