Now let's keep to the truth only, we don't want to
spread lies like our opponents are doing

OK...How about this headline
Rosenthal votes to ban E-cigarettes but supports tobacco

I still prefer

Big tobacco sponsors Rosenthal's bill to ban E-cigarettes

Lou tobacco's nick name is "Big Tobacco" ... at least that's what I heard

Bill and all, I have a PDF with such contact info for all 150 Assembly members, and am preparing to post both here and on CASAA. The only caveat is that it does not reflect changes since last November's elections. Nonetheless, for the majority of the Assembly, it will be a great start, unless and until we can get a brand new list.

As the Assembly website itself is still out of date, as we discovered with the Health Committee listing only by making our phone calls, I wonder how long it will be before we can get a new list from them!

CASAA's isn't an auto-email setup. You either print it out and fax it or copy and paste it into your own email system or online fax software.

I'm pretty sure what 5cardstud is referring to is that when you click on one of the email links for reps provided that it automatically wants to take you to the Microsoft Outlook Mail system. So instead of just being able to click on the link and do the email, one has to copy down the email address then go to their own email and copy the email address to theirs in order to send the email. Definitely slows one down when trying to send out lots of emails.

I'll go you one better, how about this one:

Rosenthal and Tobacco in bed together to ban e-cigarettes!

Sorry for being OT but just couldn't resist.

Excellent... I like it!
and its NOT OT because the headline includes the word E-cigarette

Since Google archives our posts... these headlines
should show up in a search at least by tomorrow

That is true MoonRose. But since we are really trying to get people to send snail mail or faxes instead of emails, or to actually make phone calls, I can't say this is all bad. We did provide the bulk email lists for people who only want to email, but the effectiveness of that is so up in question, that I sometimes wonder if we should.

Actually, if you clicked an email address on the CASAA Call to Action page instead of copying them, whatever email program it opens in on your computer has to do with your computer's default email settings, not anything CASAA sets. We actually made that list to be copied as one and pasted in it's entirety into your email "To" field, but for some reason it made some of them live links.
