Hey there. First post. Just trying to pad my post count a little so I can get into the real forums. I've been vaping on and off for probably 2 years now. Started with one of those cheap disposable NJoys and hated it. Then I got an ego and started trying different cartomizers and clearomizers. Now I've bought myself a Nemesis, working on getting a rba and gonna start with some DIY juice. Hopefully I'll learn pretty quick and can start helping others.

DIY can be alot of fun but ya gotta be willing to do a little homework, have patience, and expect some disappointments in the beginning. I hope to see you in the DIY section soon! Yeah, I've already read through most of the stickies. I've lurked a bit for a good while, mostly when I had questions (which were always answered already, hence me not needing an account till now). I honestly think I'm pretty much ready to get into everything, but there's always gotta be more to learn. Hopefully I don't get to the hands-on section and find out it's harder than I think.

When you talk about padding your count, or obviously trying to do it, a grumpy mod might wipe your post count back to zero. They can be weird that way. Just welcome a few more new folks to the forum, wait for the computer to update at 25 after the hour and then have at it in the DIY section (which really rocks by the way). Again, welcome to the forums.

Im in the same position as you. just stopped smoking the stinky's for 2 months now. but then i heard you can buy all the ingredients for dirt cheap. And that is for me.. been making my fluid for 1 month now. spent $20 in one month.. DIY is the way to go!
I'm new as well and want to get into DIY but wasn't sure where to begin. I've been testing tons of juice to see what brands of flavoring i like the best. Several of the brands I've tried tell exactly where their flavors are from so that's a plus. Then I'm trying to decide if I prefer 50/50 pg VG ratio. Beginning to lean more toward VG based due to it producing more vape. But...I like a throat hit so maybe PG is the way to go. As I said, still trying to figure it out. As far as tasting flavors, my taste buds are good to go!! I love to taste test them all and figure out what's top quality and what's not.

yes if you want throat hit pg will do the trick, but they also sell flavorings with pg. also nicotine can be pg too. wizardslab.us is where i go. very impressed with them. you just have to find that sweet spot i am almost there. But i like the VG.
also if you like menthol. I would suggest buying extreme ice from mount baker vapor. great to mix with anything and you only need a couple drops. and that will give you a good throat hit as well.
