I think TropicalBob would be a great source of nicotine in case of an all out ban. We just have to figure out how to extract it from his body.![]()

I don't understand some of the posts on here. Some of you are saying, that despite using the e-cig, you still crave a proper cigarette.
I've smoked for 40 years, bought my first e-cig in August '08, and haven't touched or desired a proper cigarette since that day.
I'm using 18mg strength liquids, and find my e-cig more than satisfies my nicotine needs.

Oh I see--We are supposed to pity the president since he is 'struggling' with tobacco addiction, but everyone else that smokes or is addicted to nicotine is despised. So the FDA will outlaw it all for our own good.Obama Struggles With Smoking 'Addiction' as He Praises Congress for New Tobacco Regulations - Political News - FOXNews.com
WASHINGTON -- The White House acknowledged Friday President Obama is still struggling to break his smoking addiction even as the president congratulated Congress for passing tough new regulations that puts tobacco under control of the Food and Drug Administration for the first time.
Asked if the president still smoked, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Obama has "a struggle with nicotine addiction" every day.
Of course, our wise members of political brains do realize that reducing nicotine will cause people to smoke more and deeper due to "compensation". Don't they? 8-o
Our wise members of political brains realize that 80% of voters don't smoke, and that's all that matters to them. As long as they can keep non-smokers from understanding or even caring, who cares what happens to smokers. This legislation gets favorable numbers from four out of five come the next election and the center finger is solely reserved for us.
Sad truth. But imagine what would happen if the remaining 20% quit altogether or took up e-cigs? The tax revenue drying up? The government would be screwed.
It's little wonder why the gobernment wants to ban them. To keep us smoking analogs, keep that money flowing in, and to keep our mouths shut while the gobernment makes them "safer".
Am I the only one that sees a problem here? 8-o

To be consistent, maybe the FDA should just go ahead and outlaw smoking. At least they'd be consistent if they did. As it is, any regulation they place on smoking is going to be unfair and contradictory. The exception for menthol being a prime example. Either ****e or get off the pot, FDA.
Sure, but you're savvy enough to know that they'd just shift that revenue stream to some other vice. The setup is already in place. Trans-fats anyone?
