Just got this little single coil guy in today. There are a few notable aspects to this Crius II that warrant mentioning:

1. I was surprised that the 510 pin is evidently a "press fit" or something, as it has no slot to tighten it.

2. The coil legs are clamped down by a Zirconia "Shelf Terminal" on a single post. I am assuming the Zirconia material is used because it is non-conductive allowing it to bridge both the negative and positive sides. It may also have a side benefit of heat dissipation.

3. The most unusual thing about the tank is the use of a triangular hole on the head of the coil tightening screw. Don't toss that included little tool away!

4. I had read that filling was awkward and slow. Not at all in my opinion, the side fill port is very simple and easy.

5. Last but not least are the two air flow ports hitting the coil from below and the side. I am used to air only being fed from below, and positioning the coil quite close to it. With this tank, the pre-installed coil sits higher and slightly offset - the result being a total airflow covering a far greater portion of the coil's circumference.

Gave it a clean and lube, and kept the coil that came with it pre-mounted. I'd love to be able to duplicate the coil, anyone know what wire it is?

I wicked mine up with Rayon, guessing on the amount and length, I stuffed the coil pretty tight, and thinned out the rest quite a bit, letting the ends just touching the deck below (photos are not mine). I really like the way the wick tucks in the holes and is "captured", yet it is easily visible and open below for a final length trim if needed. The result was the wick filling the channel, but not packed in at all.

Primed the wick and filled the tank with some Kilo Dewberry Fruit. Then it was time to put it on a Smok Baby Alien mod set at 55 watts (Hey, it matches the gold color, and I like the tiny mod a lot).

I was amazed at the flavor! Really great tasting. No leaking, gurgling, or spitting either. I found using the airflow at approximately 2/3 to 3/4 open is just right for me. The drip tip is good looking and comfortable. I see no reason to change it.

Oh and just in case you wondered where the name Crius originated, it is from Greek mythology!

"KRIOS (Crius) was one of the elder Titanes (Titans), sons of Ouranos (Uranus, Sky) and Gaia (Gaea, Earth). Led by Kronos (Cronus), the brothers conspired against their father and prepared an ambush as he descended to lie with Earth. Krios, Koios (Coeus), Hyperion and Iapetos (Iapetus) were posted at the four corners of the world where they seized hold of the sky-god and held him firm, while Kronos, hidden in the centre, castrated him with a sickle."

Such a lovely tale. And you thought kids today lack parental respect!

Overall it looks classy, is designed ingeniously, and functions like a champ right out of the box. It is difficult to think of a less complicated deck to build on, and I bet I order a few more - it is so easy and the flavor is outstanding. I paid $32.95 with free shipping and got it in four days, though I see it for $22.99 at the Chinese vendors if you want to be more patient and wait weeks.

Despite the name, fear not for your testicles, this one is a definite winner.

Do you have any other Single coil rta's you can compare the flavor and airflow to? Hoping for an Ammit 25 comparison.
Not a comparable tank, no. I have mostly MTL tanks (Primes and Siren 2's) and one Baby Beast with the replacement cartridge type coil.

If you happen to be fluent in German here is a comparison review, the horrid YouTube auto translate is not much help:

A detailed though as usual idiosyncratic review by Jai of the Ammit:

And finally, Vaping with Vic's Crius V2 review:

Because I like this tank so much, I'm considering ordering the new dual coil version as well.

I've gotten a few more tanks (a Wake, an OBS Engine, and a Zeus). I still really like the Crius 2 even though the others are excellent tanks in my opinion. The flavor it is producing is spot on. It definitely stays in the front row of my atty stand. Still no leak issues, and it seems very consistent.
