The latest product from OBS was kindly sent to me by @sourcemore whom I thank, Oner is inspired by the immortal "Pico design" which has recently come back into fashion.
The mod with side display is powered by a single 18650 battery and can reach a maximum power of 80W, the Pod / tank with refill from the top can hold up to 5ml of liquid and among the novelties there is a 510 adapter (included in the kit) that allows you to install atomizers with a maximum diameter of 27mm.

First impressions:
The form factor of this Mod is widely exploited by the manufacturers. In particular the lateral arrangement of the display, the dimensions and the Pod system + 510 adapter strongly recall the equally beautiful Vaporesso Swag PX 80. However, Oner stands out for its rich equipment and a captivating range of colors, I received the Charcoal Gray variant.

In the hand, Oner Kit is very compact and also weighs very little (105gr) in fact the body is mainly built in plastic with a fine zinc alloy armor. The structure appears solid and well assembled.

The side profile of the OBS Oner Kit sports a nice side color display, with enlarged fonts and good readability.
The zinc alloy armor (gray shaded) embraces the display and the rear part of the Mod. At the top there are two opposing slots (11x2mm) fully adjustable for the air entering the coil.

AFC system:
The adjustment of the two opposing side slots takes place via a steel knob placed on the front area of the Mod at the top, OBS declares that this system is suitable for both DL and MTL. The adjustment of the ring seems to me precise and well braked for vaping RDL / DL also in relation to the Pod-Tank with very wide and non-replaceable Drip-Tip.

Under the AFC system there are; the Fire button and the Up and Down adjustment buttons, all slightly protruding and circular in shape, are responsive and comfortable.
Below we find the Type-C 5V / 1.4A charging socket, personally I never recommend using the integrated USB charging function on mods that use replaceable cells, the batteries must be charged via an appropriate external charger to avoid unnecessary risks and longer circuit life of the Mod.

On the back of the Mod there is the eco leather insert with two beautiful vertical seams, the decorative element is delimited by the zinc alloy armor, this set makes the Mod an attractive appearance and the handle is very pleasant to the touch .

On the upper level of the Oner Kit houses a nice metal cap / battery with a knurled texture, the compartment / battery is protected from liquid infiltration thanks to the raised threaded collar. The Pod Compartment is made "VooPoo style" with the steel contact ring for the pod magnets and the 510 adapter.

There are no vent holes for the battery on the bottom of the Mod! I was immediately alarmed by this fact, so I tried to understand where a possible cell malfunction could vent, I unscrewed the top cap and blowing inside the compartment I noticed that the air comes out from the side junctions and from the USB port, so do not worry.

510 adapter:
Like the Pod / Tank, the 510 adapter is also compatible with VooPoo systems (Drag-X-Drag-S, Eleaf etc.). The pin of the 510 adapter is plated / gold and spring loaded, the two large side o'ring allow this accessory to fit perfectly into the compartment / pod offering a very good seal, the reading of the coils is quite precise and reliable.

I find the aesthetics of this kit pleasant even with small MTL atomizers (22mm), the presence of the raised cap does not create problems, it only limits the useless installation of atomizers over 27mm in diameter.

Pod Tank:
The tank is made of PCTG and offers a complete visualization of the liquid inside. The novelty of this Tank is the (very convenient) opening system of the sliding top-cap. The refill slot is wide and allows the introduction of up to 5ml of e-liquid (2ml TPD).
The system for inserting the coils from the bottom is of the "Push and pull" type.

Coil OM:
The two Mesh-Coils supplied are dedicated to the DL vape in particular the 0.2Ω OM with 40-60W Range. With the 0.4Ω OM YE Mesh-Coil with 30-40W range you can manage the air regulation even with small openings, obtaining a fairly satisfying type of RDL vape.
Both resistors are reactive and great producers of clouds and flavor, I find them as valid as VooPoo's PnP Coils, indeed these OM-Coils by OBS are probably even longer-lived as they are larger in size.
I did not detect significant liquid leaks, in this respect the OBS system / pod is more reliable than other similar devices.

Chipset:
Obs Oner Kit with its very simple and reactive circuit, does few things but does them well. The only available mode is VW and the intelligent Coil detection system integrated into the circuit sets (recommends) the power to the most suitable value. The power value is chosen precisely even with other Pods or 510 atomizers installed. An interesting detail is that of being able to vary the power to your liking and the chipset will remember the last setting set.
The battery management seemed very good to me, the reading of the resistances is quite correct and reliable both in 510 mode and in Pod mode.

On the display there are; battery charge level and percentage, selected power, power lock / release padlock, set watts, volts, coil value, duration of the last puff, total number of puffs, selection of background colors (Red, Purple, Blue , Blue, Yellow, White).

Operation Guide:
- Power on / off: 5 clicks on the Fire button.
- Power lock / unlock: Press the "UP" key or the "Down" key 3 times.
- Power adjustment: After unlocking the power you can adjust the power from 5 to 80W with an increase / decrease of 1W per click.
- To change the background color: Press the fire button 3 times.
