I have a EGO-T with a Kanger ProTank. Is the occasional burnt taste from not waiting long enough between vapes? Or the Coil getting too hot? Also would like advice on what VV battery would be good to go with my ProTank. The ego-T 650mah batteries I have seem to not be putting out as much vapor as they once were. The heads aren't dirty either on the ProTank, I can put a brand new one in and not get the same amount of vapor, and still occasionally get a burnt taste.

The burnt taste is most often a combination of wicking and atomization (power and heat). I tend to burn my silica to a black crisp at the power setting I use. Wicking problems can be a bad coil, thick juice, too much heat, the frequency of the vape, even vape technique. We can give you the ingredients and point you in the right direction, but you have to experiment and find out what works best for you. You definitely need to be able to vary your voltage/power. A bottom coil should not have significant wicking problems unless your using too thick (VG) a juice, or are burning your wicks where they won't wick/wet properly, and then don't atomize correctly for your preferred vape.

This might be helpful. Start watching at about 8:30: A PBusardo Review - The Kanger ProTank - YouTube

Sometimes with a thicker liquid removing one of the wicks will help a lot. I do this with my EVODs no matter what juice I use and the wicking works a lot better. Try it out and see if you get better results.

Yea it usually happens when I chain vape, it happened once last night though on my first vape after a hour or so of sitting on its side. I was vaping Hawk Sauce 65pg/35vg so it isnt really that thick. Guess I should slow down on the chain vaping, but it just tastes so good! Haha, anyhow, any ideas for a good VV battery to go along with my ProTank?
