I am a "creative smoker" meaning I smoke when I am doing creative activities, most often scrap-booking. Also an "occasional smoker" when I drink or around family/friends who smoke. During those times I can be a heavy smoker, meaning I smoke like a person who smokes every day daily, up to a pack a day.

My husband does not smoke nor do the people I see on a daily basis. So I don't smoke every day. I can go through a couple packs in a week to a couple packs in a month. On rare occasion, a pack a day for a few days.

I am considering trying the E Cig route. What would be most cost effective and enjoyable for me? Any deals out there? Don't want to spend a lot of money.

Do E cig cartridges go stale?

You should try out one of the less expensive models to see if you like it. I just ordered some extra parts from a Chinese site http://bestecig.com/ the prices are good and I already have the ecig they make, and its pretty damn good. I would go this route over the more expensive models that can cost up to $200. For $30 you can get a decent ecig.

I have to disagree - the cheap Health ecig is widely regarded as a piece of crap, and the super minis are the least liked. Just take a look at the polls here.

And while bestecig does have good prices, the high cost of shipping makes it not a good idea for someone just starting out; it's really only cost effective for someone who knows what they want, and buying in bulk.

So, depending on where Acorn lives, I think she'd be way better off going with one of the many fairly priced suppliers she can find posting and listing right here on the suppliers thread. And with one of the well regarded ecigs like a classic penstyle or a 901. She can get a starter kit for around 50.00 that will be a good introduction to the field!

I agree with yvilla, it's worth it to spend a little extra coin when getting into e-cigs. In the long run, you'll save yourself a lot of frustration and money. I own a Janty Classic, Janty mini-fogger, and Janty Dura. I started off with Janty and have since tried a few others, like the EVO, but overall, I'm a pretty big janty fan!
