The Octopus is nice for what it is. It's a cheap entry RBA to get you used to working with them. I own one and it's pretty nice, but I had to bore out the air hole as it was just too restrictive. The only other gripe I have with it is that there's no drip well and the air holes are in a really horrid place, which begs for juice to drip.

For $10 or less, it's nice. For $3-$5 more though, I'd go with the iGO-L, if it was available as an option :).

I have the Igo-L and I'm looking at getting the Octopus. I agree for the price with the Igo-L being pretty good deal. The only thing I would point out is from looking at an Octopus it seems the Air hole on an Igo-L is even smaller. I think both would need to be drilled out for optimal air flow. It also seems even with the drip reservoir I can never get the 8-10 drops that Phil Busardo mentioned as being max capacity in his experience. The other thing with the Octopus that I like is not needing a screwdriver and having those holes in the post.
