Odd taste...

Finally my first setup arrived in the mail today I'm very new to all this but I figured out the basics with it. It's an iTaste vv/vw 3.0 with an iClear 16. I bought some juice with it, which I do understand is to each persons own taste.... It's called "sweet caroline" and has a very awful, pungent, burnt taste when I vape it am I doing something wrong? Or are some juices really this awful? My tobacco flavored gas station purchased cig2o cheapo was MUCH more enjoyable.... Again, I realize ppl have different tastes, but as new to all of this as I am, I'm worried I'm doing something wrong

Hello There could be a few reasons why you're getting a nasty taste. 1. The e liquid might need to steep for a while. Which means you set it aside for a while and let the flavor settle. 2. Maybe your voltage is to high. 3. You might be having wicking issues. That can happen if the e liquid is really heavy or thick. Usually e liquids with high vegetable glycerin can cause that issue. Adding a few drops of water to every tankful, and giving it a good shake can help that one. Last of all: it could be a nasty e liquid. That does happen from time to time.

Phew! Tried another flavor (ordered 3 diff flavors) and was MUCH better! Was just the first flavor of juice I've ever tried and was soooo nasty (imo) I was contemplating giving up LOL! Sorry for panicking and crying for help so fast without at least trying somthing different, but the first was so foul I was kind of scared to try any others haha

Oh gosh - welcome to the e juice merry-go-round! I'm glad that there are a couple that you do like. I'm pretty new to buying juice, but I have found that no matter how much someone loves a certain kind of juice, someone else hates it equally as much.

I find this when I read the reviews, so they are not much help. It is just a process of trial and error for most of us. I've found a couple that I like enough to re-order, and I consider myself fortunate for now, lol.
