Wow. It's everything I fantasized about and more... more because I so love stainless' strength and sturdiness. Even knowing this, until you hold it in your hand, it's just an image. In hand, it's just so solid and clean and sexy.
Made the first coil and it vaped well for a couple of puffs - a little burnt taste and then it popped. Post-mortem revelaed that when I wrapped the wire around the wick, I put the loops too close together, so the wire split and there was a singed spot on the wick. I figured my first attempt would be a matter of trial and error, so that was no big deal. Except I know I need to order more wire soon. My fiancee dominated the making of the next coil - I had sent him the videos when iatty1 came out - so he was all ready to make it happen. He figured I was responsible for popping it, so he took over. The resistance on this one was also about 1.6 ohm and turned out well. It's hitting well and putting out so much vapor. I'm going to add some doubler to my juice and lower the nicotine some - that is a nice surprise.
Now, I was a little too anxious to get it going and I should have taken a moment to better prepare. I always figured Odysseus smelled bad when he got home after all of his travels, but he arrived smelling good and, though I wiped the insides pretty well, I'm getting a little bit of the smell good flavor. lol So I'm going to give him a good wash. I thought I might be able to vape through it, but I'm too impatient for that.
Anyway, Ody is fabulous. I'm so thrilled to break my reliance on hit and miss atomizers, as well as my dripping and driving. And I LOVE that there's more vapor and throat hit than I get with atties of similar resistance. Thanks, imeo, for actualizing the potential in vaping and making it so much fun!

Mine was delivered today at my work. When I go in tonight I shall finally have it. You know I can't clean it there and you also know I'm going to vape it tonight. Into some hot water and thats about all I will be able to do for cleaning it.
I just washed mine with hot water and soap. Had a soapy taste for about 20 min. All good now.
I myself am dying to get my hands on a couple....so sad that I missed out on the pre-order by minutes when I arrived home from work that day hope to have better luck when I get my next notice.... my stealth and incoming TS will be lonely w/o 'em for a while...

I missed the pre-sale my friend. I will buy the one that goes into the UFS and be just as happy. I can't always have everything I want
I thought this one somehow interacted with the UFS. I was also under the impression that it could be used with an atty. I'm not understanding all the variants of the Ody. Where can I go to find this info?

This was the short mode version that was released so Imeo could get them out before christmas. There is upgrade parts and full kits coming out that will let you drop it into a UFS and use it with an atty. Sometime end of January I think the rest of the stuff will be arriving.

Say hello to my Ody. Yes, finally is here. The soapy smell is strong so right now is in the wash process.
Is that what that taste was? Soap? Oh well, I should not have been so impatient.
