That's awful Fright. I learned right away when I got my very first 3V charger. It arrived DOA. Only thing I don't have 2 of is the Pila. I have been thinking about getting another one, but I still have another charger as backup.

i hear ya there....I have so many battery sizes here, every mod I own takes a different size battery lol.....16340's for my glv-3 mini....18350's for the roughstack I used to own, now using in my stealth....18490's for my provari....18650's for the glv xl I'm still waiting on (LOL first preorder there ) and the E-power I no longer own... I have a 4 slot charger I picked up when I bought my 3rd mod, with extra batteries for that same mod.....then I ordered a Pila for the provari....gave away my original 2 slot charger to my brother who has a roughstack, and my old one.... for me, its keeping up with what i need for batteries, always both chargers are filled lol....I've been stacking 18350's in the TS, vaping through a 4 ohm atty at 7.4v....what a vapor cannon that is...and I like it, but, dying to get my hands on my own Ody to play around with on the TS for my ultimate vaping experience...still sad that i missed the last order by minutes probably going for 2 since I might top off that stealth as well since I use that when I'm away from home and at work....

So, on saturday, I went to the office to intercept my 3.7s and charger. I took the iPad to read, since 'reading' is fairly location agnostic thing, and the office has better coffee. And cookies. And no rat-dogs. Having arrived at 10:45, I proceeded to finish "The internet is a playground" and started a biography on Einstein. Not that my reading list is consequential, but gives insight to my persona.

At roughly 1:45 I updated the USPS status to discover delivery notice left at 10:43 These notices tend to take a while, I know not way. The post office was 20 minutes away, I made it in 12. Unfortunately, "closes at 2:00PM" really means "close at noon", apparently because it was the eve of a holiday, albeit not the actual holiday. it's been a long difficult year of delivering the majority of my mail, so fine.

So avoiding the tedium of swapping gear all weekend, we'll fast forward to today.

My 4 AW IMR 18350s and Trustfire TR-003 charger arrived. Wanting to know how to optimally operate my new charger, I actually read the instructions, as it's sort of thing I do. It's a fasinating piece of work. One line was particularry troubling:

"Use, device do not keep out of reach of small children, ?????" ( I don't recall ?????? specifically. Again I must scan).

I can only interpret this as being a problem. I'm fresh out of small children, and failed to order more (and I can't find them on Bruce's site anywhere).

I can only assume that the "in reach" small children are a buffer to failure, fully protecting my nearby Dilbert collectables. Luckily, I believe I've worked out a system of pulleys, velcro, and rat-dogs to provide the proper buffering mass, as any reasonable person would see the problem with using children, small or otherwise.

roflmao....loved the story....but, glad you finally got your batts and charger (I think i have the same charger also....the 003p4... really is a decent inexpensive charger.) I use the trustfire for all my regular charging (smaller batts), but, my pila covers my 18490's and 187650's

Hey Major, with the right wire, wick and juice you will be off to the races w/6V. I never thought so until Bruce made me do it. Ha. I am going to make a 1.3 setup for 3.7 next on the Od. to see how it is.

1.3 on 3.7v is nice and I'm a dyed in the wool 7.4 guy. I was shocked at the throat hit. 3.7v to me before the Ody was like smoking a Marlboro Ultra compared to my 30 x day Three Castles or Drum "rollies". Gosh I was a heavy smoker. I remember sneaking out the upstairs bathroom window in my bathrobe in the dead of winter to smoke a cigarette on the roof of my house.

I had double pneumonia at the time, and knew my wife would kill me if she caught me smoking. True story. I snuck out during my wife's childbirths with both our kids to have a smoke. I just can't believe I finally quit! Wow.

Gotta go wind a coil or two...

I used to have the multiple battery problem along with the HV/SR/LR attys and clearos and cartos and tanks. I'm done now and life is good. Only own GG's, Ody, 18350's (lots and lots), oh and 2 Grips. Brad is the one that got me into GG's so we need to support him too.

I used to always go on the classy's looking for something better, something new. Now I just smile knowingly when I go on the classy's and feel bad for the unenlightened ones still searching... I hope Imeo makes more Ody's soon! Can't have ony one, I sleep with mine

I hear that. I have a drawer full of stuff I'm just going to give away.

I see it as two step journey for most people. 1) Stop the analogs and start vaping 2) find the that perfect vape.

The later is rather difficult, and I don't really care where someone lands as the environment has so many variablies and subjective nuances, that I don't think it's possible to steer someone to #2, but merely avoid failing #1.

The engineer in me says a full machanical device is key, since the device can't fail. Only must only account for the consumables. But, to each his own.
