I did a review in the review sub forum. Short version...it's a neat little 3.7 unregulated mechanical mod. The device itself is fine IMO. The tank, on the other hand, is a problem child. I have absolutely no idea why, but it really is super picky as to what cartos it will work with. I'm not talking about punched vs slotted or bottom vs horizontal coil or bone vs smoktech.....I'm talking about the factory recommended flanged cartos.
I will get one that works fine, then starts flooding and leaking like crazy. I take that same carto and put it in ANY other carto tank and it works fine. The O-rings in the TW tank are good and tight, the tank is solid and in cracked. It's a frickin phantom leak that seems to be impossible to sort out. Once I go through five or so cartos I'll find one that doesn't seem to suffer from any problems. I've been using tanks since the whole concept came out so I'd like to think I'm no tank dummy.
If I were the only to suffer from this problem, I might just chalk it up to a wonky tank, but TWs own forum (not the ECF vendor sub forum) is full of posts from folks with the same problem. The solutions so far seem to be a bit odd, like pulling up the tank until the tank's bottom o-ring cuts off the cartos feed holes, and using it until it runs dry-ish, then reseating the carto in the tank.
Bottom line, the device is nice but the tank is a bit wonky. I'd suggest waiting a bit for the bugs to get worked out.
