Afternoon all.

Better late then never I s'pose, just got the tomatoes and peppers into the ground. Made the plants happy but ...... off the chickens for sure!
Plants had been in pots in the cold frame, still, and were approaching being root bound. Deep holes, wide water pits and plenty o' Dolomite has them well on the road to salsa!

Chickens had been enjoying the garden plot, taking dust baths and eating bugs and worms in the fresh tilled dirt. Had to run em' out today due to planting. If you've never heard a ...... off chicken well, it's annoying and comical at once. Half hour of non-stop cackling and screeching from both birds.

Hope they get over it (-:

Like I said, better late then never! They'll do fine Hitt, despite my laziness (-:

Both the tomatoes and peppers certainly should have been in a month ago. Saving grace is the growing season here in the valley.
Some years can go as late as October for the nightshades.

I'll just sing to em' on a regular basis and will be good to go!

I have tow cherry tomatoes in one pot and peppers in another... they'd get trampled if i tried to put 'em in the ground. I have some blueberries working their way towards being ripe. :)

De-furred the house the afternoon. Turns out i had to de-spider the front room too. A couple of very small spiders and oodles of little teensy weensy ones. I know spiders are good 'n all, but they aren't allowed indoors.

    Somewhere between here and there
    No spiders for me either.

We finally broke down and bought a new washer and dryer set today. Our washer is on it's last leg. It's a whirlpool cabrio and it's been an expensive piece of junk for the most part. It's been repaired a few times under warranty and a couple not under warranty.
