Storms are in our forecast for later today into tomorrow but right now it's sunny and pleasant.

I think we just had the last of them, Fran. Unfortunately, the start of them last night was violent. Two people were killed when a large tree fell on the car they were driving. My MIL had a branch fall on her house. Mostly surface damage on the roof. She was lucky, except that it continued to rain after her shingles were messed up. Batten down the hatches, and be safe up there.

We've had off and on pouring rain for hours and it's supposed to continue into tomorrow. Flood warnings are up. The T-storm part seems to have gotten better.

What a long day. Work was tough today then I got home and the garbage disposal wasn't working. Somehow a screw got in there and jammed it up. I had to take it all the way apart to get the screw out. Then it was outside for mowing and spot spraying weeds. I wish we could get a little of that rain you folks are having. My yard is pretty dry and I'm gonna have to run the sprinklers again tomorrow.

Just a little misting here today. Not even enough to call it a sprinkle.

Hitt, we stopped watering the lawn in the Summer several years ago. Water rates are such that I'd easily see a $50 increase in the water bill if not more. My lawn is now "au natural"...... seasonal yellow (-:
