Thanks! What voltage would I use the 2.5 ohm at to maintain the level of warm vape that the Cisco 1.5 ohm 306's are giving me now at 3.7v? Wouldn't 1.5ohm @ 3.7v work about the same since the coil's a 306 after all, or am I missing something? Would the long barrel cool the vapor too much or should I stick to the short barrel? I'm trying the figure out what advantages there are between the barrel choices (sure wish this info were on the Avidvaper HH357 page). I also forgot to mention that I mostly vape 80/20 PG/VG juices, but sometimes the juices themselves dictate the ratios. Still, I avoid juices that have more VG in them than PG. I want to be able to love the HH357 as much as other vapers seem to, but don't want to make a stupid, uniformed choice in what I order that jeopardize my first impressions with this atty.

I vape mostly 80/20 pg/vg on standard short barrel HH357 1.5S with either a REO Grand or Mini with 3.7 batteries. I found the 2.0s a little too cool and much prefer the 1.5s. It seems some (1 out of 3) of the V1s spit when new for a few days, the first V2 I've used doesn't spit but now sure if it's one of 2 out of 3 that never spit. I don't find a huge difference between the way the V1s and V2s vape-both are fantastic. My V2 has been used 50% of the time for two weeks without needing a cleaning, so maybe there is an improvement there.

For barrel length I prefer the short ones because 1) it's easier to clean and see the coil 2) the long is excessively long and unless you need the length for a tank or something it sticks up too far 3)I have found the long ones occasionally autofeed on my REOs overflowing the catch cup. With the short ones the catch cup stays bone dry. A Cherry Vape Universal drip tip is good to have around if you get one that spits or you want cooler vape for some juices. It gives you the distance of a long barrel when you need it without having to always have it long. I use pawns the rest of the time.

So my suggestion is get a 2.0 or 2.5 if you have variable voltage or a 1.5 for 3.7volts if you like a warm vape. Get short barrels and a Cherry Vape Universal drip tip--best of both worlds.

I have a bunch a Cisco 306s 1.5s I bought and cherished before I tried the HH357. I tried to use one again once and just couldn't-you'll love the HH357. Keep them wet when you vape and they last a very long time.

As these are the best and only atomizers I prefer to vape on, when I can get them, and obviously many members agree, shouldn't there be a sub forum or something like that for it?
I can't believe there's only 2 pages here... but what do i know? Oh yeah, this is the continuation thread... but still ? Maybe in the reviews section... never mind... bumping.

I have a problem getting them to fit the stealth adapters (open only; the closed work fine) for bottom feeding. don't know why, but iI do believe Hanna uses his own tubes and drills the holes, so .... anyway.
I asked them to fit the adapters for it... gotta check that order out.
btw the stealth open end adapters do fit other 901's
Hey ive never seen the 901 version , was wondering those it also have a hole in tube ?

Yes, cooler - similar to how a conventional 901 vapes versus the 510 (but since it's an HH357, it's "better" in all ways).
The trick is draw preference; it's light too; but a drip shield will fix that up unless you like it light; i like both ways.
Many complain that 901's leak out the hole (conventional and all) but it's about how much juice you put in; the drip shield eliminates that problem altogether; I still measure my drops either way; not too much or too little.

I find it more consistent than the 510, which is fabulous in its own right when you get the vape just right... I find the best vape for either is achieved by not over filling them.

so the V2 standard doesn't spit as bad as people describe the V1? Though I use I06 exclusively, im highly considering a standard length 2.5 ohm V2 because of the i06 shortage in the market. BTW, I hate long attys!

Its best to try thing yourself than guide with other people , personally the 357 i have NEVER spit on me :) not once.

I know we are supposed to blow them from the connector side... but when mine flood, he inclination is to blow from the tip... hasn't been any prob the one time i did it... but having just the right amount of juice is imperative to getting the great vape. Blowing from the connector when flooded is pretty messy. But I'd do it all the time if it was safer.

MrAftrmth, spend a few more bucks and get the Custom, or not, at least you will get a 357 in your hands... you'll be happy you did. The difference is slight imo... I'm waiting for V2 to be the norm, but i've got a bunch of back ups til then, including custom V2's.
I could kick myself for waiting as long as i did to try an HH357... i had to sell off a bunch of stuff that became obsolete once i got into Hanna's world.

sorry a little late on the question of how is the long barrel? i just put one on, a V1 I think, LR 1.5, at 3.4v on the Provari.... unbelievably smooth, unbelievable clouds, fabulous vapor, and right off the bat. No break in needed!!!
I am cranked on nic right now.
So wow, +++ on the LR long barrels.

btw, the downside is i put it on because i just killed my 3rd or 4th HH357; this one lasted about 3 weeks; a LR shortie 510... RIP. I just hate it when that happens, but am i sad? nah, you got to pay to play.
And think about it; at 3.4v I don't need a Provari to get the best vape on the planet right now... my eGo does it just as well.

the vapor on the long barrel is incredible, but i still think the 901 has better flavor.

So..... i like having both a 901 and a LB 510, both LR, on 2 different mods...
The LB is a V2, and it is different from what i am used to with V1; the draw is so smooth, long drawn out drags no problem. It does leak more than the other 510 did, but I just try not to over feed; just put the right amount of juice to vape, and a little to keep it moist when not in use.
I will be wanting another Long Barrel that's for sure.
It could be just the V2 whether LB or shortie, that makes the difference here.
