Thanks therealmac, I highly respect your opinion? (reviews too) Is one safer then the other? Sorry about my ignorance when it comes to anything to do with power, amps, mahs, whatever the heck all that stuff is. I have a mental block there.

I am by no means an authority on battery safety, they are both IMR chemically safe (they do not have a protection circuit), you still need to use proper battery safety with both, you might want to upgrade your charger, I have the Trustfire 4 bay and it works pretty well, some folks say the Xtar chargers are the way to go. I would go with the Panasonics just because you should get a little more life out of them. All that said I do not have a Zmax so you might want to wait for someone smarter than me to chime in
Do I need to use an adapter on the Zmax to use trinkets like the T2 or Starddust? I'm tired of them.

I have 4 of the Phoenix clones, don't like em, too hard to get in and clean the wick, but i use mine for testing so i don't use a long string of wick maybe i will try mesh in there). I like the V3 more, easier to work on. I am probably going to sell off my Phoenixs
T2 has a base that is slightly too large to fit inside the zmax ego connection. Stardust 2.0's fit nice. The v3 bottom cone fits in there but there is a gap unless you overtighten it. I like the v3. Fun and easy, looks great with a gold dt.
I have been using efest's for 2 months and I like them. No issues yet with 18350 and 18650's.
