I'm working on Sweedish fish, Chocolate fudge brownie, Vanilla cupcake, Ripe banana, Chocolate mint chip, and Tropical fruit.
Nothing tastes proper lol. 2 steeping days and still nothing that blows my mind. Sweedish fish is getting better but nothing fantastic. Might need some choco brownie lol

Chocolate mint chip and a bit of chocolate fudge brownie is pretty yummy but not perfect. I made some really good watermelon with lorann. Been a daily vape for almost 2 weeks now.

Good thing I learned patience from grinding in rpg's and alchemy skills as well :p Yay Weekend! Been wasting 3 hours a night testing and mixing ;p nice to have more free time now

Keep up the canvape diy chat please and thanks for the sweetening tips Mindfield! :D

For all the new diy-ers (like me) I found a tool that may help! If you google "ejuicemeup" it's a free download. I thought I had it figured it out, but wanted to double check. Makes it a little easier to figure your mix out. There is a cool tool to "tune" your pv too - to figure out what wattage @ volt + resistance. A lot easier than breaking out the calculator.

From what I have seen so far you can save recepies with flavour % and names. I know its gonna help me, thought I'd pass it on! :)

Maaaaan, all this DIY talk has me wanting to give it a shot, I have always been on the fence about it....ecto sounds too good

I was kind of on the fence too! I've only been vaping for around 3 weeks and I find I tire of flavors very quick. After firing up the lt, ry4 on an lr stardust @ 4-4.2 volt is the only one so far I could say I love! So when ordering there are a couple that look good, but with diy its really endless! Plus gives you the chance to tweak a flavor that is just meh! :)

You've already figured it out more then many others before you. DIY is awesome for tweakage :) I like that word.

Just want to thank you Adam and Tom for being so good to my hubby and I. I calculated it out and we've spent approx 600+ on supplies from pick ups and online ordering since Dec 2011. We would have spent close to if not 1600+ on cigarettes. Approx One Thousand dollars in savings in 6 months is amazing. We've started enjoying life again. Thank you Thank you Thank you, keep doing what you do.

Now time for fun.....

V3's coming with the Nova's but meh they aren't really a v3 it's just something us guys like to do to make people feel like they are getting the latest and greatest, also to be able to charge more money :) Usually it's just the same crap with a new V# the real V2 stardust will hit end of next month. It's not much more exciting then the V1 for that matter. Sorry I know I'm busting balloons here :)

So the Stardust V3 isn't really the V3? This is just getting confusing.

All I know is, the "V3" works better than previous Stardust revisions.

I'll believe that when I try one lol! I like the TH and the vapor.....now on with flavorizationism! 10 of these have passed through my hands and most get handed off after a week of my abuse. I have one lr that kicks major .... The rest are all meh to me. other people I give them to like them tho! I guess i'm just spoiled. Bring on v3!

I actually got around to trying out the stone tank replacement and the first one out of the box worked like a dream. The original one I got in the stone I vaped for a week straight and got very limited production from.
Now VIVIV2 lol! Hopefully they will be as good as I hope. I gotta hold my vaper friends off from ordering too much till these get in. They keep snatching all my boges tho. Might just get all these fancy tools and not tell anyone till they ask hehe.

Okay so I am officially hooked on this DIY.

First off it has solved my issue with a carto lasting around 24 hours on my VV Reo. Turns out it was the juice I was using (sorry Dusty).

I am able to make the juice just the way I like it (PG/VG ratio, MG level, flavour levels as well).

So far I have only mixed up 6 batches, all at 15% flavouring, 25% VG, 60% PG

Flavor West Ecto Cooler
Mixed up a 10ml bottle at first, tested it on an atty on the LT and loved it. It kind of reminds me of a citrus (more so lime like) cooler.
After the first couple of puffs I swapped out what juice I had in my VV Reo and cleaned it, threw this in and has been in there for the past 30+ hours. Vaped on a 2ohm Boge carto.
I ended up mixing a 30ml bottle this morning as I knew the 10mls would not last long.
The juice is also fairly clear, a very slight hint of green to it.

LorAnn - Pomegranate
Tastes exactly like a pomegranate. Its a pure clean fruit taste.
This one is a pinkish red. Kind of like how a real pomegranate stains your hands and mouth after eating it.

Flavor West Banana
This one can go either way. It smells exactly like the "banana medicine" we use to get as a child. Trying it out it reminds me more of the banana runts. Very sweet and candy like, nothing like a fresh banana.
Awesome juice if you like sweets.
Also very clear as well, only slight colouration to it.

Flavor West Mountain Dew
Its like opening a can of that sweet citrus beverage and pouring it right into your atty (DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS).
Also very clear with a slight hint of colour.

LorAnn - Bavarian Cream
Having not had one of these before it was a little hard to gauge it. Definitely not my cup of tea. I get a sort of custard/cream but with a bit of vanilla to it. I do not get any chocolate to it (don't know if its suppose to or not). I guess I need to have some real bavarian cream to compare it too (but maybe not if its anything like how it vapes)
Colour is a slight pinkish brown.

Home mix - Flavor West Key Lime + TPA Lemon + TPA Pie Crust
Listening to Mindfield I decided I would have to try making a kind of key lime pie type mix. I added the lemon to it as I wanted a little bit of an extra level to it. With the way I mixed it (55%/22%/22%). I was expecting a bit more lime to it. Turns out I was wrong I do get a decent lime flavour (not enough for my tastes), with a definite taste of the pie crust and just a hint of the lemon to add an extra kick.
I must say its not like an actual key lime pie, but I like it. Its a very nice smooth vape, with just enough extra citrus kick from the lemon.
The juice is also fairly clear, with just a little yellow colour to it.

All in all I must say this is an awesome thing to try, it allows you to control the aspect of your vape, and let you decide if its not enough flavour, or just enough.
I will also add if I hadn't tried as many fresh mixed/factory made juices as I have this may not have been for me.

The problem there is the lime. I bought some FlavorWest Key Lime on the assumption that it was supposed to taste like a key lime. Instead it tasted really vile to me. Even after steeping for more than a week it still tastes terrible, though not quite as bad as it did initially. TPA's Key Lime is way better, much more like a real key lime. Unfortunately it's harder to get because it can't be shipped by air. (Something about FAA regulations and citric acid -- all acidic flavourings have this issue.) Gotta order it FedEx ground which also means hefty brokerage fees. Also, TPA's Key Lime is unstable. It starts off wonderfully tangy, but it fades after 4-5 days into more of a sweet lime. I'm investigating ways to stabilize it, possibly by adding a little granulated citric acid to preserve the tartness. Malic acid may work too in smaller doses.

Also, replacing the pie crust with TPA Graham Cracker gives a nice change to a graham crust, which is more like Tasty Vapor's version.

I've never had TV version so I don't have anything vape wise to compare it to other than the real thing.

I do like the way it turned out but I'm sure I will modify it anyways. Was actually thinking of adding a bit of real lime juice to it for that extra kick.

This is still new to me and I'm leaning about the flavours and what ones are good and bad. So far out of the couple I've tried only one I didn't like. So I think it's a good start.

Either way I'm in heaven right now with doing DIY. I honestly didn't think it would be this good.
