Here, there, everywhere!
No 1

I grew up on a farm. When we got home from school we did chores for a couple hours then went in the house to eat, shower and homework. I remember times that I thought my parents were so mean......but now I appreciate EVERYTHING i had to do. It taught me work ethics and that physical labor actually can be fun (and I feel so good after I do it).

Now....I would do anything to be able to quit my job and do nothing but help my dad farm. I love the smell of fresh disced dirt, the look of new winter wheat coming up..............

#2 - When I woke up today, my 4 year old told me he was going to make me breakfast. When asked what breakfast would be he told me "How booooout rice?" so I say "and what else?" and he says "How booooout.... chicken?" so I say "and what else?" and he says "How booout french toast?"

After my wife came in the kitchen I ended up with two pieces of toast and a cup of coke... never got my rice, chicken and french toast :(

Referring to isbn's comment on being abducted by aliens.

I swear and will to the day I die that I saw a UFO when I was in my late teens early twenties. (see, they wiped part of my memory)
Not here in WI but in Colorado. It basically just materialized in front of me. I swear...... there for a few minutes ( I don't really know how many) and poof..........gone in a blink of the eye. As soon as I started grabbing for my camera. Just vanished.

#1 for today
I wish I can have more time (and money) to spend with my mom and dad. They are in their late 60's and they live in Europe.I miss them a lot. Last time I saw them was 2 year ago. I hope I'm going to see them this summer. So, if you have your loved ones close by go ahead and give them a hug, tell them how much you love them.
