Greetings! My name is Adam. I'm just starting to get seriously into vaping, and since so so SO many of my searches for vaping info led me to this site, I figured I have to join! I started with a Kanger e-Smart starter kit (pen-sized), and quickly realized that 1) this is a REALLY good way to keep me from starting cigarettes again, and 2) this device is NOT going to cut it. After watching some videos, I settled on the Kanger EMOW Mega starter kit. Almost 2 mL, 1.8 Ohm dual coil units, and a 1600 mAh VV twist battery. Definitely not bad vapor for a $55 kit that needs nothing but juice, and I'm still using it today. I have no prolblem getting through 2 days on a charge, and I go through 1 to 2 tanks per day, depending on whether I'm working that day.
However, I crave the 'perfect' vape - dense, warm, and flaaaavorful! Sorry Kanger, my Smok Magneto v2 is scheduled to be delivered today, along with a UD IGO-w3. I ordered it from vaporauthority.com (this is not a plug) on 10/26 - a Sunday - and it's out for delivery on 10/29. 3 days, starting Sunday, from California to Pennsylvania - FOR FREE. And that is awesome. Sadly, my batteries (VTC4) & kanthal came from a different vendor and won't be here for a few days still.
Now, I know there is a HUGE difference between the Kanger I have and the RDA/mech mod I'm getting. Please be assured that I am familiar with the characteristics of Lithium batteries and their safe handling, I have a good understanding of how electricity works, and I know how to build/test coils that will not exceed the limits of the batteries i'm using.
That being said, I'm excited to start experimenting with coil setups, and documenting my successes/failures for all to see! I'm glad to have found such a large, useful community of vapers. Thanks to the Staff for everything they do to keep this going!
