I remember watching Hee Haw, the Sonny and Cher show, Donnie and Marie and those classic comedies, Chico and the Man, Sanford and Son, All in the Family... Do you know any of those Stoney? Or are you a generation younger than that?
I know all of them...plus The Carol Burnett Show, Mash, Quincy, Charlie's Angels. It's been ages since I've seen any of them. I think I remember Mash the most, I liked that show quite a lot.
The worst = The Lawrence Welk Show.................kill me now!!I remember all of those and they all sucked too
Do you want a bigger laugh? My grandparents forced me to learn and play bridge as a kid....while sitting in front of the TV with The Lawrence Welk show playing. Now you have one piece of the puzzle that is my own brand of crazy

But I found it to be torture at the time. I think they saw it as teaching me something I would need in my adult life. I've never played bridge with my adult friends...I don't even know if any of them know how. I do look back and laugh at it now, and do understand what they were trying to accomplish despite my active resistance.HAHAHAHA....Bridge, Peknuckles, Canasta, Cribbage, all the good () 'games' was played at my house in dem days
Well the contractors are here putting in the new water heater and we decided to go with electric and get rid of the propane.....soooooooooooooo two new 220 electrical runs and a new electric stove. Ok gotta run they gotta turn off the power...catch ya all when I can

Who in the Hell listened to Polka music in the early 60's and "liked" it ?

Oh my house was a regular freakin marchin band lemme tell you mista !! Da brother with his accordian, a sister with her ear popping screeching clarenet, another sister with her flute that sqweeked in such a high pitch all the neighborhood dogs ran to the animal shelter to be saved frum its, and the other sista who blew on a trumpet god only knows why cuz she neber got a tune sound out ub it that I eber heard, I believe it was to stretch her cheeks out for employment elsewhere but dat can not be proben by me at dis time. The old man father played the guitarROFLMAO

the home base set took the top of a fairly large desk, so he could keep in touch by cb for all the people who worked for him snow plowing, on jobs, etc etc. That thing was so powerful he blocked out all the neighbors televisions everytime he clicked the mic Good thang they were friendly (neighbors) cuz he woulds click the mic and say things like.....'Evening Shirley, How's your day ?" (shirley was a neighbor up the road) and then the phone would ring a couple seconds later with Shirley cussin him out then laughing So I heard crap frum ebery angles dere
Thank god for habing a barn full of horses cuz that was my salvation away frum dem freaks in da family, I ran every chance I could - Status
