Hey everyone. I am in need of a little help. I am looking for some kanthal wire welded together with non resistance wire.
If anyone knows where i could buy some, it would be greatly appreciated. I found non resistance wire welded with NiChrome, but i would want to be kanthal. or if someone has a welded and can send me some wire i am sure we could do a little trade

I was looking for Kanthal ribbon NR-R-NR coils, and that's even harder to find. I bought some 1mm sterling silver crimp beads and used them to make my own coils. 100pcs for $4 with shipping from Amazon. It's not as clean as the welded wires, but I made it work just fine in a ceramic cup type head. They flatten out bigger than you would think when using regular pliers so if you're rebuilding Protank type heads it might not work. There's a special crimp bead plier/squisher that I haven't tried yet that folds it into a "B" shape. It helps if both the NR and R wires are the same gauge. Anywho, that's what I know. If you have the wire already, it's only $4 to give it a try.
