You shouldn't be. The P3s connections are just fine without it. Everything works. All is well.

R

But, but but......as Master of Lube, I am compelled, neigh required, to be saddened to learn of no no-ox on your P3 threads. Yes I am!

I dunno.. It seems they're better off with no excess stuff on them. At least the Ti.

R

There is no reliable data to support whether No Ox provides any tangible benefit to Titanium. There is however, tangible benefit to using No Ox on stainless steel.

Yeah, I still wonder. My threads and connections seem to be just fine.

I posted about this once already over in the Saloon but that wasn't enough to stress how I feel about this :grr:
Provape still selling Efest batteries just blows me away
For a company like Provape that puts safety first to sale a product from a company like Efest is a joke to me.
You might as well make the P3 200 watt and put a sticker on it saying "Good Luck"
:danger:This is a Quote from Baditude's blog,
Dampfakkus is an independent testing facility in Germany which first exposed that Efest is using cells from other manufacturers, rebranding them, and then advertising over-rated specifications as a marketing ploy for better sales of their batteries.

Back when I first switched from the Blu cigalikes I had tried Johnson Creek's Vea cartomizer system along with a few juices. Thought they were ok, but nothing to get up in the middle of the night and write home about. I wound up taking advantage of their money back guarantee and returned it, then went out and bought a Ego-C twist with a Kanger T3 clearomizer....

Hey everyone, it's been quite awhile since I've posted in a P3 thread, in fact I don't think I've ever posted in this one (part 2). Probably because my P3 has been working wonderfully, but unfortunately that has changed :(

A week or two ago I was putting a new coil in one of my KFL+'s, and when I was finished I screwed it onto my P3 to test it out, but it said OPEN OHMS. Naturally I thought I screwed up on the coil somehow, so I proceeded to take it apart and check it out, but it seemed to be fine. However even after I put it back together it still wouldn't "connect" to the P3, so I decided to test it on another device, and it worked just fine (the same thing happened when I tried my Kayfun Nano and an Igo-L RDA). The odd thing is that sometimes if I didn't screw the atty all the way down it would read the resistance all the sudden, but if I turned it even a millimeter or two it would go back to OP :grr:

Anyways, I already opened a ticket with ProVape, and now it's on the way back to be repaired. It sucks and is awesome at the same time, as I hate being without my beloved P3, but I love that when I get it back it should be working like it used to (perfectly :)).

I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced the same problem (or a similar problem)?

Jackie is sleeping or I would ask her directly so forgive me if I get this all wrong. She has a Kayfun V4. Before getting our P3's she used it on her ProVari Mini. The decision to get a P3 was she expressed a desire to use her K4 with a P3. Early Christmas present and of course I needed one for myself to get to know so I could advise her on the use of hers... :)

Anyway, it connected perfectly to her V2 Mini with no problem whatsoever. With the P3, she had to adjust the center pin on the K4 as it was not making a connection. Last week I had the brilliant idea of using up my prepunched tank cartos by using a carto tank on my P3. I had to, "pull the post" on the carto as it did not make a connection. Aside from the nuances of carto tanks, it worked fine after that (well, the connection did.)

She's using the 510 connector, btw.

A side question: Anyone know why ProVape no longer sells the P3 Nautilus?

Welcome or welcome back! I'm just butting in and free associating (so I apologize if I'm wrong about this), but I know I read something about a member having problems with a connection - not screwing it down was okay, but tight there was a problem. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, my memory is often fragmented. It might not even be the same issue, but there was something about loose vs. tight...

I might have the details wrong, but someone here should remember.

Love it! I'm reminded of the effects of drugs on spiders.

You actually got me with this once. Yes you did! :D

In fairness, I must agree. The Ti is FINE without anything at all.

Yet I still dab a BIT of Noalox (which I happen to prefer). It just smooths it out a touch. Preference is all in the mind.

It's an oldie, but a goodie. I can't remember how many years ago I first saw it, but it still makes me laugh. Just like the Russian guy over-dub - and this one:

It certainly is (a "goodie"). And I'll never forget thinking it was real (for however many seconds that delusion lasted). One of my better laughs in this lifetime, and I thank you for that.

I use NOALOX also as I bought 4oz of the stuff when ProVape recommended it for the V2's. It took me 3 years to use 1/2oz on two units. Doing the math, 4oz should last 24 years except for the fact there is more threading on my P3 to use it on.

I'll just say that I have enough to last "a while" too. Amazon rocks.
