The VC models do not come with a car charger either. There may be other differences I am unaware of but these are the ones I know of..

VC2 (compared to VP2)
No wall adapter
No car charger
No charging current options
No voltage options

Are there others? I don't know. As always, one has to weigh how important these things are to them. There s a sizable price difference between the models.

I have a lot of wall adapters.
I don't need car charger. Have USB in it.
I would most likely attach it to comp.

I really like the screen on it too. Will have to do more research on them. My old Intellicharger i2PRO still works fine.

I have the VC2. I like it, as I prefer knowing how much capacity my batteries are taking in. As long as your computer supports 1A output on USB, you'll be fine. My old car phone charger works like a charm on it, and is 1.2A output, so it's fine as well.
