So no battery percentage issues etc? Odd that the salesperson at the shop told me that flat top causes flutuating battery percentages on p3s and highly recommended button top batteries.

First time I read about this. And the P3 takes buttons and flats with no issues.

Well, I guess it depends on who you trust more, ProVape or a salesperson.

I had a slight problem with Ver. 38 whereas the battery % would get to @ 52% and read empty all of the sudden. I'd remove and reinsert and it would be ok. I sent it in and they told me it was probably due to using Noalox. They put on No-Ox and suggested I do the same which I do and everything is fine. Sure, if I remove the battery and reinsert, sometimes the % will be a little higher but that's no big deal. Below, I copied and pasted the description (hope it's not to much fluff) of the last couple of updates whereas ProVape addressed, "Battery Management" issues. I have been using Version 39 since about a week after it was released and am having no problems but, like I typed, haven't been anyway since using No-Ox.

I do preventative maintenance once a week and completely clean the threads once a month. I replace the spring every 6 months and stretch it @ 3 months.

The following changes were implemented in Version 38:

Support for .5 ohm tanks - The P3 now supports tanks at .5 ohms.

Low Battery Alert - When the device gets down to 18% left in the battery, the light will slowly flash yellow to alert you that it's getting low.

CheckAll (1 second) - The CheckAll feature now has the option to set it to 1 second. This allows for a quick look at your settings without leaving the display on for 5 or more seconds.

Battery Filtering - We have added some additional battery filtering to help with some problems reported by users saying the battery was empty when there was still energy left. Having the new spring and making sure all your connections are clean and tight is still what will fix this, but extra filtering will also help.

Various bug fixes

Money Saved Counter - This new feature allows you to set the price of a pack of cigarettes and the P3 will keep track of: How many cigarettes avoided, puff count, and how much money you have saved on cigarettes, based on the amount you set per pack. Every time you vape, this will keep track of your stats for these categories.

All new devices shipped as of 05/05/2015 already have the v38 firmware installed.

P3 Software Update V39 Now available.

We recommend that all P3 devices upgrade to the latest version.

This release has the following improvement:

Battery management improvements and bug fixes.

Profile memory loss after battery removal fixed. Some users reported losing their settings when removing the battery.

Low Battery Alert On/Off option added.

Both look nice ... but I like it on top of the Radius more. Most full size tanks on the Radius, IMO, just look a bit oversized on top of a Radius.
Agree. And just one reason I can't get into box mods. Most of the attys look dopey on those things. But the KM3 on the Radius is not bad.

That was your first mistake. :w00t: :p

Seriously though, I've been in ONE vape shop in which the salesperson had a tiny clue of what they were talking about; the rest were either hoping the customer didn't ask any questions or expecting the customer to already know the answers.

Everything I learned about vaping came from Google, Youtube, ECF & various other ecig forums.

Starting at what point? When I began vaping or when I inserted the battery in the new device for the first time? Does it allow for one to enter a start date to accurately display the correct money saved amount?

I am in the same boat.

Luckily there is one guy at my local B&M that is extremely knowledgeable on all things ProVape (and RDA's and most other vape stuff). He does my SW updates for free as well, which is cool....
