My husband has suggested as much :). I DO get that Micky D's and Morton's have slightly different flavor profiles. Really, I do. But I don't get why Morton's at 4.2 volts in P3 with Nautilus tastes different than Morton's at 4.2 volts in Billet BoX. Really, I don't! Maybe someday ... Probably about the same time that those 40 pigs sprout wings :(

Here's an old thread, but it can help explain why you are noticing a difference.

Well, the Orbtronic 2900mah is an absolute BEAST in the P3. Its been about 24 hours since I started using this battery and it still reads 60% on the battery gauge. This is about a full two day battery vaping at 12-13 watts. That's a full 48 hours, not two 8 hour shifts at work. Incredible.
One question though. Is it possible to see the actual voltage of the battery, or do I only get to see the P3's gauge feature?

If they're the batteries I think they are, then they're the Panasonic NCR18650PF wrapped with a button top. I have several of the Panasonic NCR18650PD and NCR18650PF batteries and they all perform great in the P3. I'll probably get the 3200 mAh NCR18650BD batteries (also 10A) as mine need replacing.

I finally put a battery in my Celtic Knot P3 :)

I tried one of my 7 month old AW IMR 18490's (it's only been charged around 40-50 times), which I bought back in May on eBay  The first thing I did was check the IQ, and the result was rather surprising :D

I was pretty familiar with the menu after all the videos I had watched on YouTube, so I was able to easily navigate it right out of the box (I even switched it to level 3 scroll speed right away). I decided not to test it out yet, as I really don't want my first vape on the P3 to be with a Protank 2 on top. So I'm going to wait until tomorrow, then I'm going to try out both my P3 and KFL+ clone for the first time. I can't wait! :vapor:

I use the same batteries and my P3 is on day 3 now. I will say I alternate flavors so I use my 2.5's as well, but the majority of vaping is on the P3. It is a beast of a battery.

Thanks and very interesting. My bats are getting old just like me /lol /joke

How about a trusted source link to purchase these bats? Price for me is a secondary consideration. The real deal is paramount?

Thanks in advance and Season's best wishes to all!

You can get 'em from Amazon.com. $24 for 2. Here's a link: Amazon.com: Orbtronic Two 18650 Protected 2900mAh Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries Button Top with PCB - NEW Dual Protection Version Panasonic 2900mAh cell inside: Electronics

Actually, you don't want the protected version (amp limit is too low). You can either get the button top (Orbtronic) batteries directly from their website or you can get the flat top (works in the P3) version by Panasonic that isn't wrapped with a button top from Illumination Supply. I've ordered from both companies and have been quite satisfied with their service.

Just as an aside: I hope ProVape doesn't mind us sharing competitive sources for batteries in their forum. If it's verboten, please let me know.

Thanks for the clarification. I've not used anything but AW 18490 since I got a Provari. They simply work and don't let me down.

Thanks! I noticed. :)

And ditto to our gracious ProVape hosts. I ordered direct from Orbtronic
