Ti ProVari... How very tempting. No way now that I got a P3 beta. I guess it doesn't get any more "early adopter" than that! LOL

Also intriguing about the P3 flat top on a v2.5 - doesn't mean it'll fit any 2.5 though - they could have machined the ti tube different from a standard 2.5...

I did the same thing though - checked the price with the extension ring and blue LED. Something about titanium says "blue".

It really does! That was the first thing I did too, although without the extension ring because I use 18500 batteries.

Yeah but passing up that titanium extension ring just seems kind of wrong...only cuz it will be produced in such small numbers...

The limited edition Ti extension ring is a must even if you don't use 18650's.... If you ever decided to resell it you would need the Ti ring to command top dollar..

I wonder how many Ti's Provape will sell...? With the P3 on the horizon who is willing to shell out $300 + for the old VV chipset? .... :2c:

Why in the world would I sell it? You will notice I'm not verified. That's on purpose. I have no need or want for classifieds. Besides, if I forgo the extension ring that I will never use it keeps the price under $300. LOL

Look you are buying a special edition Ti mod if you upgrade the LED which I would suggest (RED is to glaring) you are @ $285.00... What is another $20 so you have all the parts... Once the Ti extension rings are gone you will never be able to get them again....

Because it's $20 I don't need to spend for a part I will never use, on a mod I will never sell. Simple as that. I am 100% sure I am in the minority here.

Thanks for that link Riverboat, serious food for thought about the practicality factor vs weight savings...

I am having the same problem pulling the trigger with another mod manufacturer who is now offering a Ti edition mod... I was the one who asked him to produce it and now I am having second thoughts....? Precise ELA V2 - Titanium $499.00.. At that price its a hard pill to swallow.... :glug:

So last night I went to bed with my P3 battery at 10%. I am hard core and all :) the first thing I do in the morning is have a vape. I push the button and nothing.... look at my screen and the battery is listed as empty. So does this continue to draw power even when you are not pushing the button? Does this happen with the device is set to the "off" state? I had not shut it off, just put it down.

On that note as well, when set to off and I push the button, the screen still lights up and the button still flashes with no indication of it actually being off (screen doesn't show any indication).. just doesn't vape. I would think it would say "off" or something like that........ maybe in another firmware release? I am running 31.

But my main question... so this draws power "all the time"???????

Well VTC5's seem hard to find and easily counterfeited that I am afraid to buy the from ebay (especially since they are going for 20 bucks each and I can't confirm they are real). Are people counterfeiting the Panasonic ones as well? They seem to be cheaper and easier to come by. Is anyone using Panasonics in the P3. What model number if you are?
