Why was the decision made to make the Ti 2.5's? Why not Ti V3's? It just seems like a missed opportunity, and I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it.

I for one, would happily go to the bank and get a loan to cover the purchase of a V3 Ti, but I can't justify doing so for the older model. :(

Hey, PoM! Don't think of it like that...
Instead, think of it like this:
Provape now has the stuff to make titanium devices! So the v2.5Ti is probably the first of many to come!
I predict a line of titanium P3's, maybe even with colors, for those who want them.
As always, remember folks, just because a company offers a more expensive version of their product, doesn't mean they are expecting people to buy them...or afford them. It's just for those who can, or want to. If you can't afford it, or don't want to save up, or just plain don't want it, you don't have to!

Quite simply, the decision to make the TI was done about 6-8 months ago and while we were hoping to have them out sooner, it's never too late. With upgrading the machines, delays for other projects including the P3 and getting new tooling, it's taken longer than expected. It also goes to show that we are going to continue to support the 2.5. The 2.5 is a great device and continues to be a great seller. I don't see it as a missed opportunity and those that buy it will be very happy for many years considering it's a well built device, made in the USA with a great warranty and can still out perform most devices on the market, even though some consider it "old".

Ti makes our devices featherlite indeed :)

And mine's are many months of use ~ yet remain scratchless!

If P3 wasn't in the pipeline I'd have grabbed this v2.5 Ti without batting an eyelid ;)

Oh... you just had to say that, didn't you?

I still love the 2.5 Minis and last month bought the Dragon an GloVari, so now I have four of them, and I'm really thinking of getting the Titanium!

The Dragon scratches quiet easiely because it is polished and I take it everywhere I go. How about the Titanium? Is it scratch proof or prone to scratches? This question is actually the buy or not buy decision for me! I don't need an extra one but I would love to have it! Sorry, sometimes I cannot help myself!

I hope you are going to produce the Gold Zenkote in the P3 because it is my favorite color and completely scratch proof!

Awesome! Thank you.

The TI is media blasted which puts a very resilient finish on it. Since media blasting for the SS is our most durable and scratch resistant finish I would say it will also create a tough finish on the TI that will keep it nice for a looong time :)

Once you get yours feel free to report back and give us updates on how you like it.

I'll put your vote in for that P3 option!

Stop it right now, OK?

I've already convinced/deluded myself that I won't be getting one. Please allow me to reside in this fantasy for its 48 remaining hours.

Thank you very much.

I have to get one.
Now.

I'm glad to hear your TI finish will blasted. My blasted SS 2.5 hasn't gotten a scratch yet, so yes TI blasted should also be harder to scratch. But people need to understand that TI itself is not scratch resistant. It's a lighter metal.

I'll *trade* my "original" raw Billet Box for a Ti 2.5 (as you know, you can't get the 'raw' any longer).

I do not think that would make me a 'flipper', would it?

No sir, Peter C. But you'd have to rip my BB from dead hands. Even the raw one.

I might sell one of my Provari v2's though, to offset. But I might not either. ;-)

That just shows you how much I'd like a Ti 2.5 - of course, I am saving up for a P3 (whenever I can get one from ProVape that is)

As for the entire scratching thing? I simply don't get it? I *have* seen Ti rings with scratches, but I have a bracelet made from Ti that I've never taken off but rarely for cleaning, and for whatever reason, neither I or my bride can see any scratches anywhere on it

Well, since you brought it up, how are the "other projects" going? Specifically, the ProVarinati End Cap. I'll jostle David's elbow if I need too, but I figured he has enough on his plate at the moment, and you seem to be in a talkative mood. :D

Edit: I've been informed that Vape360 sees David every day. Specifically, in the mirror while shaving. :p
