The IQ is very sensitive and a pretty cool feature. Designed to tell you when there is a issue. Sometimes something like adjusting the spring or cleaning contacts can make a huge improvement like you found.

I agree... very cool feature. Not only did the IQ let me know there was a problem, but by trying things one at a time it also let me know exactly what the issue was. Now that's a smart mod! And it only took a couple of minutes to isolate the problem and fix it. I also now know to clean the threads occasionally as part of normal maintenance, of course if I forget to clean the threads the P3 will let me know when I need to. I'm a big fan of the IQ feature.

Not bumping up against the amp limit with slightly lower resistance, Boost, and IQ: these are the things I'm looking forward to from the P3.

I ran into a poor IQ problem on a friends P3 last week. Very poor performance and would hardly vape at all. I checked the IQ and it was at 27. I tried the battery in my P3 and it showed 86 IQ and vaped great. I stretched her spring just a little and no difference. Then I cleaned the threads and the IQ jumped to 83 and the P3 vaped great again. The P3 seems to be very sensitive to thread contact and a little cleaning seems to make a big difference in IQ, so I would try cleaning the threads and see if that helps. I just used a little alcohol to clean my friends threads and that was all it took. It has been vaping great since the cleaning. I haven't seen her again yet to put some Noalox on, but just the cleaning seemed to do the trick. Give it a try and don't forget to clean the threads for the 510 ring also.

I right away bought Noalox....I have 4 ProVaris but never cleaned the threads and I think I should do it as I can see from your post it can make a huge difference!

Like everyone else I am Super excited about the Provari 3! I've been off analogs for two months and was planning on purchasing it for a kind of reward for quitting on Christmas. Instead I got lucky and won one from an online contest, just have to wait for its release. Was curious to know if anyone has heard anything recently about its launch. I've read through the entire thread and so far it's still playing by ear for info?

Yea. It was interesting to see the progression of how the thread went from sheer Provari excitement to bickering and tension as the weeks went by from the initial announcement thread besides I didn't want to ask anything that may have been already addressed in previous posts. And it helped keep my mind off of having to wait for a little while lol

been keepin up with this thread too lookin for a release date. Couldn't wait ordered and just got a 2.5. It's my 1st provari and my go to now.
Still gonna get the P3 when it comes out.

And mine even longer ~ NO telling when/if there will be *white*.

I hope he's not the reason for the logo. Not that I've got anything against Phil but [IMO] he's just a reviewer no different than any other reviewer.

When I eventually have mine I'll call it the Busardo Mod, my PB in short

To clear things up about the logo, it was created by a designer that does not know who Phil B is, so it's not related.

As for colors, we will be launching with several color options, TBD, so i don't see that you will have to wait until Feb
