Basically the P3 was designed with resistances below 3ohms in mind. Mine was just a bit above that, which is frequent with Boge SR cartos. I tried last night my aerotank mega with a 2.2ohm, no problem with boost.
BTW that damn aerotank wouldn't screw all the way down on the P3, I screwed it rather tightly but gave up as I didn't want to damage anything.

He also told me the bug with the battery level not updating with the screen off was corrected in ver 36. I'll have to wait for my reseller to be able to update firmwares...

Just started messing around with boost this morning. I'm presently using the P3 in 18350 mode, mainly because I've got several underused flat top 18350's lying around. With a 1.8Ω nautilus boost for me seems best at level 2.

I'm sure happy I can use flat top batteries in this thing!

Sucks. I just had to open a ticket with provari. The battery issue is ongoing and constant. 5 different batteries and it happens very often. Additionally, the screen is not flush with the device.

No. Battery shows as empty randomly every hour to two hours. Have to remove and reseat the battery.

Typically this will happen if the IQ is low which is related to a poor internal resistance of the battery or a weak connection. Make sure you tighten those end caps and you have some good batteries.

What is the IQ reading you are getting?

When this happens are you using the new end cap with the stronger spring? Or the old style smaller spring?

My screen is a bit cockeyed too. But not enough for me to care as long as it's in there good. It's just slightly recessed on one corner and slightly raised on the opposite corner. Not enough to return it from Canada. But I know it would drive some people crazy.

Just wanted to post so provape can maybe address the screen issue somehow on future runs since it's likely more than just ours that are slightly off. Not an issue for me, but I'm sure they'll get the ocd crowd complaining. My ocd is just shy of it driving me crazy.

Iq varies. I actually get higher with the p2.5 end cap. Right now with p3 end cap. New aw imr battery and authentic kflplus i see 39. I just switched to p2.5 end cap and get 68.

Well, yeah, that's a deal breaker. If there really is a functionality issue with your unit you have to send that in.

This would be the cause of the battery saying empty when it's really not. The IQ should be in the 80's or higher ideally.

The tank won't matter, it's something to do with the battery and connections. Try cleaning all the connections and tighten the spring into the end cap. Make sure you tighten the caps nice and snug. Also try cleaning the contact pin inside where the battery mates with the circuit board and the threads on the end cap. I would still recommend using the new spring.

The IQ is working properly and its detecting something is not making an ideal connection on the input power path which is causing the issue. It's a very accurate reading.

So for cleaning, ill use isopropyl alochol 91% on a q-tip. Clean the spring, the threads, internal connector, and the 510 piece?

It's only from the window down that you want to clean. The 510 connection and tank do not affect the IQ.

Cleaned it all again and showing 76 with the P3 connector now. I dont have any batteries in sizes other than 18650. I'll see how it holds up. A few quick thoughts on my P3 and maybe more!

- Thanks ProVape for a beefy end cap spring. I only run VCT5s and it works like a charm.

- Day two and IQ runs from 97 to I think the lowest I have seen it was 94. Bat life so far with a limited run time appears to be very good. Boost set to 3. Yum!

- Respectfully, I can't say I'm in love with the Menu system /lol but fortunately and thankfully anyone is ready to vape by simply selecting either the up arrow or down arrow A which fortunately and well thought out are the first options you see after 4 clicks. Even my Grandmother could learn this. /lol

- Fit and finish are just as I expected from my current collection of 2.5

Vape360 is working on Sunday! WOW! Kudos. Please take a break. The rest of us can keep things under control while you smell the Roses.
