Apparently we do. Maybe a double'un. And since I seem to keep pushing some peoples buttons, I think I'll wish everyone a nice weekend and check back in next week.

Congratulations to those of you who have received your Procyon. I hope you really like it and I'll be checking in to see what your thoughts are.

To anyone I upset today, it wasn't intentional.

Have a great weekend ALL!

Take care of yourself, Rod. And we know you didn't mean any harm. I'm the LAST person who could EVER point my finger at someone for letting emotions take them awry.

It's my own personal specialty. I'm thinking about trying to patent it (so be careful, you!). ;)

I do understand that the ProVape factory is setup to make certain style of devices, and wouldn't be feasible to rip all the computers, robots, and machinery out, plus retrain the workers every time they come out with a new device.
But I would really love a 40 or 50 watt 18650 Mini :)

Well, since this appears to be the day for it, can I put in MY request, for a side-by-side? :D

Most Provape dealers have a programmer in store, like mine who will update any P3 for free, regardless of where it was purchased.

To be honest, most of us don't buy Provari's because their interface is revolutionary. No, we buy them because they're the best made, safest, most consistent mods on the planet, backed by unsurpassed customer service.

It's OK if they don't have devices that meet your needs. But you are not posting in ECF general forums. This is Provape's hosted forum, paid for by Provape.

No offense, but since there's nothing here you feel is right for your needs, there must be other non-Provape hosted threads your time could be better spent.
But that's just it- it's about the company or device. Good or bad why can it not be expressed here? It's not like this was posted in some other vendors forum. People need to stop acting like the only things that are acceptable to say are post that glorify ProVape devices. I've said it before & will again, ProVape is not so daft that all they want or expect to hear is the good.

I was initially pleasantly surprised at the civility of this thread compared to the Radius thread debacle.
That appears to have been short lived.
SSDD.
Possibly the 2nd new Provari I'll end up not buying because this always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Keep tarnishing the brand and watch what happens.

They did not design it to be easy to swap the battery. They designed it to have a captured battery that could be changed out at end of life. I don't really get why people buy the Radius and then complain about this. They designed it the way they designed it specifically, not randomly.

They include a good battery, that they have confidence will do what they need it to do. They want you to use that battery, and when it dies they want you to replace it with something comparable or better.

This is not the device for people throwing batteries in and out of their mod all day long.

They don't think that is a good thing.

There are alot of mods on the market with magnetic doors that are great for swapping batteries. The Radius is not one of them.
Many people weren't aware of this until after they had already purchased the device.

WOW. G'morning to all of you, too!

Lots of schtuff going on in here today. In terms of the "right/wrong" of posting praise vs. criticism, how's about talking straight to Wilbur?

what say you on this matter? I do think it would be helpful for all of us, (current and future members) to have some guidelines of what IS ok in a Provape thread, and what is NOT ok.

If you don't mind, I'd love to hear from you on this. I have a feeling everyone would (benefit).

Hi Kat,

It's a great subject. Thanks for asking. This is not directed at anyone specifically, but the general policy here.

I think we're pretty tolerant as long as it's civil. The forum is here for people to hang out and chat about whatever's on their mind. We just ask for people to be respectful of others. Same rules apply in any public place really. If you pull out a gun someone will call the cops.

If someone has feedback and they want us to listen it's more likely to happen when it's done in a respectful way.

Examples:

It would be great if you did this or did that. I really want a________.

Vs. You suck, I hate your product, what a crap design....

It's all in the approach. We're humans to and we will give respect to those who respect us in return.

We do love feedback (good and bad) and we have changed a lot of things over the years based on your suggestions. We are always open to constructive criticism.

As for moderating - if someone is here to cause problems, we get complaints or we feel their only reason for being here is to create a hostile environment then like any business funded venue we have the right to boot them out for the wellness of our other guests.

That doesn't mean you have to buy or like our products as we welcome all. We just ask that you show a little class towards your fellow Vapers.

Group hug and let's all have a Vape!

I don't think anything got out of hand in here today. :?:
Unless I'm missing a post or two

It is Impossible to design a device that every vaper in the world will like enough to purchase.
And some of those people that don't like a device will stop by and tell us what they don't like, this is expected.
But it does gets old that people that didn't have any plans to buy a device in the first place have to come in and tell us why.
Now I'm not saying everyone that don't like it is doing that, but there are some.
When I read other companies threads on their devices and what people want and don't want, it's done in a way that comes off as that persons opinion. But when I read the Provape threads it seems more like hate and bashing than in opinion.
Case in point,
Innokin came out with the Coolfire IV around the same time the Radius came out.
CoolFire IV is a 40 watt box mod with a 2000mAh non-changeable battery.
A few people posted things like, I wish the battery was bigger or when is the TC version coming out, but the Radius comes out and it's stuff like, 40 WATTS you guys SUCK, you only care about the tootle puffers, no TC mods are obsolete, the battery cover is bad engineering :(
And I think some people post stuff just to stir the pot or pick a fight. :glare:

Mariusk post on not liking the last few devices Provape made didn't bother me, it was the comment on the Provape engineers that I might of took the wrong way.:blush:
But even at that, I was just having a little fun.
:p
