Not an option. Provape said on their Facebook page the possibility exists to add TC to the firmware. And suppose I buy the thing and after using it for 2 days I found out there's a serious battery drainage bug, what then? Send it to Germany or the US? No, I will only buy a new Provape tube mod if it's user update-able. Otherwise I am completely uninterested.

While I'm not a product designer, I was thinking of several options..
One of them is to stick that usb board at the top, near the chip (inside the mod of course). The tube would be threaded at the upper part (similar to the P3, just a little higher), and whenever a fw update is needed, you just unscrew the tube and plug a usb cable.

If they were offering it in the time P3 was released, I would be willing to pay even more.
But if I need to pay for a programmer more than $50 now that the Procyon is released, I expect it to last for at least one or two future models.
