We walked away from having "smart" phones :) The two iphones sit in a drawer, unused. Our plan is now talk & text only. I never answer my phone, if they don't leave a message, it was not important anyways. I have my wife's older hand me down ipad which seems bullet proof. I do like that device. Her current ipad gets heavy daily use for her unwinding from the workday, she just loves them. The old thumwheel style ipod she has still works fine, just won't hold a charge, the new ipods won't connect to the Bose Wave, I picked up an adaptor cord, but she doesn't like it because it looks janky, so there we have two Bose Waves that are also now useless to us. Piles of expensive electronics that become junk because of incompatible ever changing connectors. I'm well on my way to becoming a grumpy old man LOL, ;)

Lucky you for finding the strength to disconnect! My wife and I are both tech addicts (I am a lot more so than she is) and are extremely active on social media. We both have smartwatches, too. Oh well, I guess there are worse things a person can be addicted to.

ETA: Their venue rules state: No Large Vaporizers or E-cigarette devices
But it doesn't define "Large" or give a reason why they shouldn't allowed...I think I heard somewhere that NJ has some heavy restrictions.

Starland Ballroom :: Venue Rules

In the FAQs it says smoking is prohibited.

I’m from out of state or the country, can I smoke inside Starland Ballroom?
Since 2007 Starland Ballroom has been a smoke free facility and smoking inside is strictly prohibited.

Do you provide your patrons with a place to smoke?
We provide an outside smoking section for our patrons where re-entry into the venue is permitted. Smoking inside the venue is strictly prohibited.

This one is a bit unclear:

Does Starland allow the use of electronic smoking devices?
The use of all electronic smoking devices are prohibited from being used inside the Starland Ballroom. Any large vaporizer or electronic smoking device will not be allowed into the venue.

So, one can't vape in the venue (but maybe the smoking area is okay?), except "large" Vaporizers aren't allowed in the building.

They need to define "large." My 1000mAh Twist is taller than a mini, but a mini is thicker....

I had my Radius with a Kabuki and my wife had a Hana Modz V3 mini with a Kanger Subtank. Neither one is large by any means. It all comes down to the fact that it's not a vaper-friendly venue. Smoking regulations in NJ are pretty much the same as NY - banned in all public places, certain areas of casinos being the only exceptions. Ironically enough, Starland smells like a stale ashtray.

If they are really concerned about using mods as weapons, why aren't they also concerned about metal phone cases? Something like this can inflict far more damage than my Radius:

When I read your post, "Bukaaay" registered as "bukkake" in my head. Just goes to show you where my mind's at!

Enjoy the Radius. It's already been 6 weeks since I got mine and it's still my favorite device. Although the Kabuki has been knocked out of the top spot in my tank lineup by the Kayfun V4, it's an excellent tank in its own right. I took it to London last week, as I didn't want to worry about the possibility having to rewick or recoil. It certainly makes a killer combo with the Radius.

Your right. I do have a small machine shop here at the house. Do try what I suggested with the base and let me know how it goes. Perhaps you're just lucky and got a short screw. Some people have all the luck.

Hey @Knifemaker - Do you ever make art/decorative knives?

Does my battery life sound right?

.65ohm
15.0w
I am getting thru one subtank mini fill (5ml?) and the battery is empty.

And yes, the battery is fully charged(at least the blue LED is off). I am using the stock battery.
No that doesn't sound right. I posted my puff count at 26W, it was 185 ( iirc ), which I think was something like 10-12ml(?), I dunno. Either way, yours definitely sounds off.

Attention Ghosties!

Yes, it's silly, yes it has eGo threading, but it's cheap and might be fun for a minute. I've seen them under $2 from overseas, but this page has more info. ECBlend coupon code (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't; it might only be for juice): 10020

Clearomizer - Greensound - GS-H2L - LED Light

Replacement coils are available in 1.8Ω
Hey guys and gals...
These could be really fun to play with!
I mean, direct from the website:

One customer reported these as being "Freaking Sweet!" during product testing.

I loved my iPhone, till the battery would not hold a charge anymore, it would cost about half the price of a new one to have it replaced.
Duane, I love ya man...but this statement is so far from the truth, that I almost lost respect for your opinion on the subject.

An iPhone battery replacement is around $79+ tax.
My best friend/roommate is a service technician (Genius or whatever they're called these days), and I just asked him.
So, unless you're paying $160-something for an iPhone (not a single one is that cheap), you're not paying anywhere NEAR "about half the price of a new one to have it replaced."
Heck, for most models, that $79+ tax comes out to be just about the same as the retail sales TAX for the device.

Anytime I've ever had an issue with an iPhone, I took it directly to Apple to see what my options were. I was never disappointed. Even if the issue occurred outside of the warranty, I was willing to pay for repair/replacement or just upgrade cuz it was time anyway.
But hey, just like we tell all those lunatic anti-Provarians:
Nobody is forcing you to buy it!

I was going to point out a battery replacement isn't now nor was it ever half the cost of an iPhone. Of course he could be thinking about when the cell companies offered subsidized phone sales and he actually thinks the iPhone ever really cost only $199. It never really cost $199, as the cell companies just added the additional cost of the phone rolled into the contract price of service over 24 months. The new pricing formulas are much better, IMHO. Either way, it's OK HBManOfTheCorpseDude. He doesn't have to like the iPhone. Just like many don't have to like a Provari.

ProVape have advised those with battery meter issues to remove the battery and put it back in, which effectively resets the device. During beta testing, this happened to me as well - it showed full to near full all the time, then suddenly wouldn't fire and had no battery left in the meter. I believe I caused the issue in this case however, from beta testing, and VERY frequently charging. It was fine after flashing v19, so I didn't have to reset it.

Thanks :)

I already did it, but will do it again.

If it doesn't work, I think I'll have to open a ticket, sad thing is I'm in Mexico.

Well, I just sent back my RADIUS to the mothership :(

No RADIUS for me for some time :(

It was a Black Onyx one, but I asked them if it could be possible to send a Ghost White, in case they decide to replace it for a new one, of course, after the corresponding checking and tests.

If they send the Ghost White, I hope not to regret about the color (the Black Onyx was so classy). :D

The two phones were pretty cheap, this was five or six years ago...

@AstroTurf I pulled up this Aspire. So that looks like ego thread right? I could have them get the adapter for a provari then. That might not be a bad idea. Wonder if any of the shops in town carry the replacement heads for that. That might be right up her ally if i cant get the nautty to work for her.
Yes, Ego Threaded...

Any shop that carries Aspire starter kits should have it and the coils too.

No airflow to fiddle with, easy to open, fits very nicely on an NJOY Starter Kit battery.

It acompanies two full size Provi to work everyday.
