This Radius is fantastic. Amazing build quality and works great.

I really don't like how the battery is removed though. Complete P.I.T.A. And the only negative I can find with this device (ok, I can't run my 0.2 ohm drippers on it, but not why I bought it). Does Provape or anyone else sell replacement screws? I ask as I almost lost one down my sink in the first couple of hours I owned it. I will likely buy a dozen. Not a fan of that system at all.

Beyond that, I absolutely love it. The display is almost the lovechild of a Signature and a P3. I mean that in a very good way. VERY easy to navigate thru and use.

Funny thing..... I look at my non-Provari mods and think "how many months will these last?". With my Provaris, I catch myself saying "how many years will these last?". The build quality of these things are amazing.

Were not married And she already sold the Radius. She wasn't happy with it because it takes too long to fully charge a battery and she hated the thumb screws.

Fair Enough...

The Dicodes Dani-Box is a better buy. The build quality is better, swapping the battery is a breeze and it has one of the best boards on the market in it. It also comes with 2 years of warranty. The only reason to buy the Radius is because you're too stubborn to admit there's better stuff to be bought.

So the Dicodes has a military grade board in it I suppose?

Now how do ignore this Lem-Brain again?

I wonder whether a small oring placed around the inside of the screw could make it captive?

Good Idea. The way it's machine turned smaller between the head and threads, a small "O" ring should work just fine. I have some very thin polly sheeting here, that I may be able to make some mini washers from. Will give it a try.

I don't know if its military grade. It doesn't matter to me if it's not military grade. You make it sound like that's what keeps ProVari's going but you have to remember loads of devices don't have military grade components and they keep on working year after year.

Yours is a Ka-Bar, and was also made by the Western Knife company. It's a Huter. A lot did however make it into service no doubt.

So with out the serial numbers, that means that it is a non military issue?

All this knife talk makes me wanna share!

Now, I can't make a knife, but I can make other things with these hands of mine.
So when I found my Grandpa's Army issue service knife (Korean War era), I wanted to honor it with a proper sheath.

I also made a belt mount for a hook, so it hangs from my belt nicely.

Then I got adventurous and made myself a "vape holster"...

It has three button snaps on it, so the cover will fit over my longest daily setup (P3 in 18350 with KF4), and my shortest daily setup (P3 in 18350 with KFL/SteamTuners Tiny cap)...and then everything in between.

Times are tough, and hours at work are low, so I'm trying to get a little leather working business going, but it's been hard. My first few builds only brought in enough to replenish my supplies.
