Could happen.
I went to an spotted something in an "estate sale" listing way back when I was a teen, offered some stupid low price for them, and got an "OK, but you have to take them out of the walls".
Some gazillionaire had installed an "I don't care what it costs" audio system, then died. And I yanked out the speakers. They were unusually shaped, literally built into the walls of his house. But they were "Voice of the Theater" cabinets, customized with a Klipsch HF horn added. Used them for years as my band's "PA" system - ridiculous quality for that but they could handle anything.

Wait, here - kinda like these, but the cabinets were somehow modified to fit in the house I took it from. These below are for sale for like $3500. I think I paid the poor widow a couple hundred bucks, max.

Something kinda sorta like this, but with the cabinet extended to house the horn.

My folks have a set of voice of the theater speakers custom built into handmade wood towers (they are about 2 1/2 feet wide, 4 foot tall.
sadly, they have been in storage for so long I am afraid they may be ruined

Perhaps a change of subject, OK?

How a picture of the most amazing steak I've ever had in my life, which was tonight's dinner with my brother who just got out of the hospital. The plate this teak is on, is a full sized dinner plate and the steak came in at a mere 3lbs:

A steak like this should put a smile on any face (as long as you're not vegan or vegetarian and if you are......sorry, but is sure did put a smile on my face and a happy in my tummy!).

Ya did not.

Sorry, my dahlink! But L  O  L !

Some peeps were talking about 14500 devices

Here is mine :)
ProVape-1

Cabernet Red ProVari Radius with a Innokin APEX tank.
Blue Provape-1 v1 with a eBaron Dripper Pro v2 by Leo
24K Gold ProVari v2.0 w/Blue LED, with a 24K gold plated Kir Fanis Prive-Special tank, Drip Tip, and Tatroe wide Base.

And ALL I saw was the 24K Provi, and the rest of the nite will be spent in Golden Drool.

I saw one once.... it was the Grand Opening of Vape Rev, and they had it hidden away behind glass (and I think quite a few padlocks). It was GORGEOUS and PRICEY and I fell in ProviLove.

Chief, you rock. That is absto stunning!!!

No but this is:

Hmmmm. I wonder if my frontal declawed purr kitties can do that thang backwards....

I've had one cat that fetched.

He was a rescue, literally from deaths door as a kitten just after he was born. He died quite young as a result, his health was always fragile, only Six when he left us.

He was the cat that didn't exist, no one ever saw him except us. Whenever someone came over, or came by to feed him, if we were away, he would disappear.

One time, we had a friend staying over on the couch. She had never seen him. She had never even heard him.

She was convinced we had made him up, as were quite a few other people.

She woke up with Izzy crouched on her chest, nose to nose, just purring away in the dark.

Scared the crap out of her.

Cats.

Gotta love 'em.

Good old Izzy.

Good old Izzy, and good old jwb. You get my best "Awwwwwwwww".

HI GNEES!

That's it. I retract my "Good morning".

Does that now, by default, imply that I hope everyone has a sucky day?

Longolino, I realize you don't know this about me ( ;) ) but that AOL sound turns me on BIG TIME!!!!!!!!

I took in a de-clawed tortie many years ago. She was one of the best cats ever, smart, feisty, and had a real mean right hook that kept the other six at bay  She would slap them upside the head and you could hear this "PAP" sound  She would also pretend scratch on cardboard and the like, making the popping sound with her calloused pads.

I like to turn things into something completely different. Like a stir fry, then it's like NOT eating leftovers :thumb:
