The State of Confusion
Thanks all for the help. Encouraging. Yesterday it was an intermittent leak out of the air hole while vaping. Yea, I tried different sizes but no dice. Of course if I fire my P3 with the air hole pointing up so to speak it's fine but why bother. I suppose I could fiddle with the 510 pin on the Beast so it sits up when screwed into the P3 but that's a last resort. The B deck beast sat overnight and I just checked. Know it's leaking out of the base on the atty around the 510. YIKES! No leaks overnight through the air hole but it was vertical on my stand.

I just stripped it all the way down and removed all the orings and will replace except the glass window insert in the tube. I even removed the famous 510 pin. Gonna clean and pray to the gods. /LOL

You can also use a small "O" ring around the base threads to act as a bushing so it has a "stop" adjustment so to speak so the air holes line up...a trick I learned from my ZAP days with my P2.5'...works pretty sweet!

And while we're on the subject of leaking. If the B deck is a little prone to leaking, especially in the vertical position, I'm hesitant to use it on my Flask. And the squape is all I've been using on my Flask because it's awesome with nickel.

As you all know, the screen is on top of the Flask and I would freak if my leak damage my screen or flask.

So now I'm considering if I even want to use the B deck unless I get some better news.

I think if it's properly built and wicked it won't leak.

Correct my fellow geek /lol

I actually use that trick with my REO Mini and RM2. Perfection! NEVER EVER leaks unless I go wacko and over squonk. It's my goto out and about but MIGHT be replaced with my REO LP with the same kind of topper tweaked for the LP

LOL

BUT really! With our collective knowledge and the price of the B Monster and atty it should be rock solid for all of us. Maybe it is and I'm just venting so humor your Senior Citizen but I'm really not impressed with the collective thoughts in this thread and I really don't mind tweaking and a little dribble/weeping every so often BUT to a point and then forget it already and back to the W deck. Of course, I use Magma's for my NI200 + KGD builds so my views may be nutso because for me, I see no need for a NI200 build on the B monster since I never get a dry hit with the W deck.. Natch, that's just me.

I've had no leaks, but I use the big airhole which sits over the top of the flask and seem to get a little condensation or something out of there, not gonna make a difference which deck, the threading just isn't ideal for me, nothing major though

Same here just some condensation from the largest air hole, which I also use.

Me, I use the number 3 air hole. I prefer MTL and 3 is perfect for that. Probably a preference from my smoker days.

I don't think I've ever noticed condensation except in the chimney and the drip tip. My hole always seems pretty dry. Tuesday when I'm off I'm going to attempt B again cuz I really want to try some different, bigger coils.

Ain't that the truth - the current bill that the ...... in the Danish government are trying to pass, which is coincidently pretty much based solely on statements from the medical companies that make the conventional chewing gum, patches etc. and backed by the anti-cancer organization, which is even more coincidently heavily funded by those exact same companies, pretty much sets everything back to ready-made cartomizers and cig-a-likes, since everything must be approved in reference to "European standards", which aren't even made yet.
So yeah, if/when that passes, it'll be all about stocking up on bases and aromas etc. :(

I fully understand the EU is totally different regarding laws, etc., however regulations on food type flavorings I would think would not happen even in the EU as it's impact would be significant on the food industry...

As long as one has their mods, and a ample supply of nic base (a few hundred Euros / dollars worth), you should be good to go!

I mean in the EU or Americas, there isn't going to be agents knocking on you door to confiscate your nic base...

What many do not realize is this is coming sooner than later...we have a presidential election coming up next year, so it's pretty safe to say nothing too major is going to happen federally here until the mid to late 2016 time frame...

But when it hits, it will hit hard....none of us, EU or US have a clue how difficult or expensive or whatever it may become to continue vaping as we know it right now!

Even if the hardware industry is not impacted, if one cannot get e-liquids readily and affordably...what is one to do, revert to smoking..I DON'T THINK SO!

As the old saying goes:

"Nic will get you times of no money better than money will get you through times of no nic"! :thumb:

I forgot to mention that oh yeah the big tobacco companies are making e-cigs that are producing a lot of vapor now...enough to satisfy a smoker...the bad part is again what will they be putting in the e-liquids, all "fully approved", of course...

It's all BS!

The big tobacco companies along with the WHO, FDA, EU, US, etc., are all controlled by big money, and it isn't going to matter what ANYONE says or does!

BIG $$ is what talks!

We are all so screwed!

Happy Sunday!
