Leaks from the air hole where the afc ring is.Well it still leaks.. ;( less gurgling, vapable.. But still leaks.. That was when I left about 20% juice inside and left alone for an hour or so.
I guess if I had continue to vape til dry it would be better? Not sure..
It was literally pouring out the air hole.. And the base was wet wet wet.. So can't tell if any was coming out from the 510 or not.
Anyone with the same problem? Like leaking towards the bottom of tank?
LOL . I never yell at my friends, unless we're watching football and their not Dallas Cowboys fans.Definitely 30ga and maybe 29ga. Currently loving 29ga. Dude, I'd be happy to send you some to try out before you make a bigger investment. God knows I have way more than enough but - I just wouldn't want to be yelled at if I happened to send it wrapped around a used cardboard box![]()
I've never had my B deck leak. But I make sure that none of the cotton tails are touching the top of the air shaft on the deck. I imagine if you're getting leaking, its because cotton is not covering all the holes, or its seeping from the cotton tail down the air tube. If you're filling the cup with cotton close to the top of the air tube, I could see juice finding its way down there.
What I do is not stuff too much cotton down the side. I stuff enough to cover the holes, and thats it. So I don't have excess cotton sitting at the same level as the air tube. And thats worked fine for me. Doing it this way, I have noticed the W deck wicks my thick juices better though. I just assume thats because the juice is trying to push through much smaller holes, as well as travel vertically and a longer distance through cotton to get to the coil. I always thought the W deck was such a great design because the juice is moving through cotton horizontally and a very short distance to get to the coil. I've also noticed that I get warmer vapor with the B deck, but that could simply be my coil placement.
That's what I ended up doing. When I couldn't remove it by hand, I wrapped the deck then clamped down with vice grips (just enough to get a nice grip but not damage the deck) and then just popped it right off. They can be tricky, especially if you didn't drown the deck and o-ring in e-liquid when you fitted it.
My best advice, is to put base and deck in the freezer for 30-60 minutes, then either attempt to pull it off using rubber gloves for grip, or the insulated handles of a pair of pliers, or wrap a THICK layer of tape around the deck and use pliers with extreme caution (you don't wanna scratch the deck)...
The cotton isn't the same level as the air tube as i know that could leak. It's below. I'll have to try less cotton and see then. I just use enough to cover the holes and just fluffy. I've scratched a lot of my decks since I've had the squape unfortunatelyThey can be tricky, especially if you didn't drown the deck and o-ring in e-liquid when you fitted it.

You just need some non-marring soft touch pliers, that way you can grip the deck easily without scratching it, and without freezing it comes right outThe cotton isn't the same level as the air tube as i know that could leak. No thread on ECF for it I don't think. I haven't tried TC yet, I was too impatient to rebuild an atty, lol, I just threw on the closest one and instantly fell in LOOOOOVVEEEEENice - where did you get those?
Plus, so anxious to hear about your new toy! Are you going to use it strictly for temperature protection? Is there a thread for your new device? Having a hard time finding it on Tapatalk
Damn, you beat me to it, lol
